A Once Upon a Time Tale: Reawakened

Absolutely love this TV series so when I saw there was a book based on the first season I obviously had to get it!! It's magical and amazing and I love this story so much. The writing is perfectly suited to the story-telling and it follows the first season closely so it's actually like reading the show!Once Upon A Time is such a brilliant show and this book was a beautiful icing on the cake after finishing the last season and a great revisit to where it all began. I so want them to do a book per season that would be perfect.

Just as the fabulous tv series, this book is enchanting. Loved the characters the refreshing plot and the settings. Great read. ✨💫

Because it is written how the DVDs are and makes it a fantastic read. I would recommend that every person who loves the series from TV to read it as its really worth reading

Being a massive OUAT lover, and book-obsessed, I was super eager to read this. I feel that the author captured what the character's were thinking very well, especially since you can't tell that on camera. But, I do feel that the author rushed quite a few parts, having watched the series'. Recommended; although it's not the best book in the world, it's definitely a good read.

This book is basically the same as season one of Once Upon A Time. Great series and great book. If you like the show you will like this book.

Reawakened is where it all began in the first season of Once Upon A Time in a place called Storybrooke and the characters don't even know that they are fairy tale characters until a ten year old boy works out what characters people were.

I have seen this on tv and I really do love this book but I wish there was a evil queen not Emma or Mary :( but i Love it

Es bueno para leer si estas aburrido, pero le faltaron algunas cosas, y se centra solo en unos cuantos personajes, esperaba encontrar una escena muy querida de Rumpelstiltskin y no estuvo.

Ho deciso di acquistare questo libro in inglese spinta dal mio amore per la serie “Once upon a time”. Leggerlo è stato come rituffarsi in quel mondo e, per me, un po' come tornare a casa e ritrovare dei vecchi amici. Nonostante io sia accecata dalla venerazione per quello show, ammetto che questo romanzo non è esente da difetti. Se lo leggesse qualcuno che non ha mai visto “Once upon a time”, ad esempio, capirebbe ben poco, perché molte cose sono date per scontate. Perciò lo consiglio solo a chi ha già visto e amato la serie. A voi mi rivolgo: in questo romanzo ritrovate la prima stagione narrata esclusivamente dal punto di vista di Emma e Snowhite. Comincia dal primo episodio, in cui Henry, il bambino che Emma ha dato in adozione dieci anni prima, bussa alla sua porta e la prega di tornare a casa con lui, a Storybrook, perché deve salvare gli abitanti dalla maledizione della Evil Queen, nonché sua madre adottiva, il sindaco Regina Mills; e termina con l’ultimo episodio, quando la maledizione viene rotta ma una nuova minaccia aleggia sulla cittadina. Questo romanzo esiste solo in inglese, non è stato tradotto in italiano ed esistono dei sequel, che però sono degli spin-off incentrati su alcuni personaggi, come Red Riding Hood (Cappuccetto Rosso) e la Evil Queen (la Regina Cattiva di Biancaneve). Io, da fan fedele della serie così com’è, non li leggerò, ma se scrivessero un altro romanzo basato sulle successive stagioni, sarebbe subito mio.
