Puppy Didn’t Eat It
The puppy wouldn’t eat it, apparently didn’t like the flavor. She’s not a picky eater either, this is only the 2nd treat she’s refused. She’s usually eats anything that’s offered to her.

They eat it right up
My puppy gets high protein food. I also give him this calcium supplement. Both dogs get the supplement but the older lab only gets half of one just to make him think they're both getting a treat. They both chew it right up with no problems or hesitation. I couldn't say if it helps or not since I'm not growing another puppy as a control group or whatever. Basically, for me, it's covering my bets. My puppy has had diarrhea on occasion. He's also eaten styrofoam, sheetrock, firewood, and God knows what else, and had several different brands of dogfood. He's a puppy.Has it helped? Dunno, but my puppy turned 6 months old yesterday and I weighed him at 81 pounds. He's not huge looking, compared to similarly weighted dogs, but he is one dense fella. For those wondering, I've had a full bowl of dogfood in my house for decades now. The dog is hungry, he eats. He's not hungry, he doesn't eat. It's worked for me for a very long time and I don't have to screw with times and amounts. Just put more in when it's getting low. Oh yeah, we also have 2 or 3 eggs every morning: over easy. I eat the yolks and them feed them the white, a bite at a time. Ever since they were both 2 months old, I can poke them in the nose with a fork of food and they'll just back their head up a little, until I tell them to eat it. This teaches them patience, not to be food aggressive, teaches them a couple more commands, gets a little more protein in them, and gives an object lesson of he who giveth and taketh away breakfast. I'm an old man and am rethinking my picking him up and getting on the scale after yesterday.Anyway, can I quantify what this has done for him? Not really. But he's making big dense bones. He makes them out of calcium. Give him what he needs to do that. You have a chihuahua? Eh... (hand rocking back and forth) it's not going to make him Cujo but it may help him. You have a fast growing large breed? Oh hell yes.Addendum: Noticed the back of the bottle says give 2 tablets twice a day if the dog is 61 - 100 pounds. Well the last day of my little monster being 7 months old (week and a half ago) he was 100 pounds. Not sure what he weighs now... I still give him the supplements, on the same schedule; he's not done growing. Did I mention I like big dogs?

Amputuate? or Supplement!!! Miraculous Mending
I have a 5 year old tiny 4 lb poodle. She is healthy, moderately active, and gets some exercise with balanced brisk walks We even opted to continue a diet of high quality puppy food into adulthood to maintain healthy weight and muscle mass. She is just one of those lucky thin dainty girls, (we all wish we were lol! 😁) As routine as jumping down from a low sitting couch dozens of times a day can be, it was the one out of million times, that she just misplaced her landing and broke her forearm. On the x rays -several tiny fractures asterisked her toothpick size wrist bones. We had ER Dr splint and hoped for self mending. However after 7 weeks, no sign of callus developing nor any indications of healing. We chose to give it another 4 weeks and had our vet reset the splint. If it did not heal, the next course would be either find an elite willing and expensive orthopedic surgeon or most likely amputation. I began searching for vitamins and therapies to supplement the healing process. I spent a great deal of time reading online reviews, evaluating costs and comparing benefits. Sure Grow 100 had all the nutrients I was looking for in a single tablet, and the price is great. The reviews seem to be youth oriented mostly, but I felt positive that this could be an ideal multi vitamin for supporting repair of broken bones. They have that "meat" treat smell, but also a tell-tale aroma of a multivitamin, so she was not thrilled about eating at first. So-in the beginning I used a coating of peanut butter, or an occasional Greenies Pill pocket, but now she eats them plain.I am sooo Happy to say after 4 weeks of Sure Grow 100s-Xrays today show ALL her bones surprisingly muddled together on the xray with a very good calculus formation! Vet says 2 more weeks at this rate will be healed and cast can come off! I believe this supplement made all the difference.
