Compact Tablet That Punches Above Its Weight
Compact Tablet That Punches Above Its WeightI’ve been using the HUION Inspiroy H640P for a while now, and it’s one of those gadgets that makes you forget how affordable it is once you start working with it. The 6x4 inch drawing area is just right—not too cramped, not taking over your whole desk. It fits easily in a bag, making it great for students or anyone moving between home and office. The stylus is battery-free, which is a huge plus since you don’t have to worry about charging in the middle of a project. With 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity, it responds with impressive accuracy. Whether sketching, shading, or doing fine design work, I felt the strokes were smooth and natural. It doesn’t feel like a high-end Wacom, but honestly, it comes surprisingly close for the price. The six customizable hotkeys are handy once you get them set up—though I did find myself accidentally pressing the wrong one until I built some muscle memory. The setup process on my PC was straightforward, and drivers worked without fuss. On mobile, it also performed well, though the smaller surface can feel a bit tight if you’re working on detailed projects.A couple of things to keep in mind: the tablet is plastic and light, so it doesn’t have the premium heft of pricier models. Also, the surface texture can show pen wear over time, so a protective film might be worth it if you’re a heavy user.Bottom line: This is an excellent starter or travel-friendly tablet that delivers reliable, precise performance at a very reasonable cost. It’s not a pro’s primary workhorse, but for students, hobbyists, or anyone needing a compact second tablet, it’s a smart buy.

After some surface area customization, this tablet is a great tool!!!
I have wanted a pen tablet for years (decades?), but have never worked up the courage or money to try a brand like Wacom. This was the perfect gateway device and the price was a steal for what it’s provided. Most of my work is either in video editing (Davinci Resolve, After Effects, Final Cut Pro) or Photoshop and the Huion Inspiroy H950P has worked wonders for the latter. I had started to develop mouse arm, so this was a welcomed relief.Out of the box, the tablet was easy to setup, but immediately, I needed to adjust the dimensions/screen size for the tablet, since the pen worked all the way to the edges, not allowing for any space to test my hand.It takes some time to acclimate to the way a pen tablet represents your entire screen, especially having used mouses, trackpads, and track balls for decades (which require you to reset your physical hand placement when you’ve moved too far), but with the borders wrangled in a bit, this tablet is amazing and has increased workflow.I don’t use the shortcut buttons as often as I should, since I still like the heavier tactile feeling of my laptop’s keyboard, but the ability to customize each button to pretty much any command you need is useful.I would have preferred a USB-C plug instead of micro USB, since micro USB plugs loosen over time, but that’s a small complaint for what is a very useful, affordable tablet. I highly recommend it at this time…!

Product is as advertised, and I’m quite pleased with it
I’ll be honest, I’m not an artist but this digital art pad works great for all I use it for, I’m in the middle of creating a RPG that has a lot of the art in pixel art. For that, this thing is nothing short of great, as I use it over a greater period of time, I have no doubt I’ll get used to it more than I’ve even gotten used to my own computer mouse. For games like Osu! where they’re fast paced and require a decent amount of accuracy, the responsiveness is perfect, and even though I don’t have to use the entire pad, using it at a half of the ratio to screen size, it doesn’t have any issues. One of the things I don’t like about it however, is the fact that it uses Micro USB. have had a lot of times where the certain products I’ve had that use Micro USB, end up becoming useless because Micro USB breaks fairly easily, not an issue with the product itself but one that might become a durability issue in the future. Another issue I would like to address in this review is that there is no way to adjust the height at which the pen / stylus gets detected above the pad itself. It might not be a problem as I get used to it, but I’m used to movement being associated with moving something with friction, and the way I imagine using a pen & digital art pad would be like using my computer mouse where only if I drag the mouse upon the surface will it move the cursor. The last issue I have is that, when putting pressure on the edge with my wrist, it likes to tip over since it’s so light. All in all this product is as advertised and I can’t think of any other issues I could have with the Huion H640P

Straight up beast
Huion H950P Review – Perfect Partner for Digital Art and 3D DesignThe Huion H950P has been a fantastic addition to my creative setup. I use it alongside my STGAubron Gaming PC (Intel 10th Gen G5905, Radeon RX 560) and Elegoo Centauri Carbon 3D printer, and it integrates seamlessly into my workflow. In Blender, the pen pressure sensitivity and smooth tracking make sculpting and designing 3D models feel natural and precise. This is a big deal when I’m preparing detailed models for printing—every curve, edge, and texture comes out exactly how I want it. The customizable shortcut keys let me keep my favorite tools at my fingertips, saving time and keeping my focus on the art.The tablet is lightweight, responsive, and works flawlessly without the need for charging the pen. It’s compact enough to fit neatly on my desk but large enough to give me a comfortable drawing space. Whether I’m doing 2D concept sketches, 3D sculpting, or finalizing designs for my Elegoo printer, the Huion H950P performs reliably every time. For artists, designers, and 3D printing enthusiasts, this tablet offers professional performance at an affordable price. It’s been worth every penny and has become an essential part of my creative station.
