Beautiful blue tea!
I ordered this after having a purple haze drink at First Watch. When I researched Butterfly Pea Flower Tea, I learned about all kinds of health benefits. I looked quite a bit before ordering this. It seemed to be a good product for a good price. I was correct. I enjoy having this beautiful blue tea.

It's BLUE, but how does it taste?
So, it weakly smells like overcooked broccoli, and basically tastes like the water you used to overcook the broccoli. If that's what you're into, then this is the tea for you! I am still glad I tried it. A little goes a long way, and it is VERY blue. It turns purple in acids such as lemon, and you can use it to add a splash of color to your beverages.

Like magic!
These flowers will turn your tea turquoise blue. When you add a squeeze of lemon, it becomes purple. Kids are fascinated by it! Quality is excellent!

Taste delicious
The order arrived on time and seemed to be very fresh. I made some tea right away, and it tasted wonderful. I can't wait to do more with it.

toasty
I think I prefer whole-plant buckwheat tea (the kind that looks extruded) but this is also tasty. It reminds me very much of the breakfast cereal Super Golden Crisp, though its not actually sweet.

Good value
The flavour is exactly what I recall from other pea blossom orders: earthy but very subtle. My only complaint (which is minor) is that the colour is tinged brown/yellowish. My other butterfly pea blossom teas have all been a bright, bold blue when steeped, but this order is not. It's almost like it's got regular black tea in it, or that it's tinged with diluted coffee water (as far as colour goes). I've tried multiple clear glass hot beverage cups, an electric kettle for water, 2 different Keurig machines, and even microwaved hot water and the colour is still somewhat tainted/dingy, so I can safely say it's got to be the blossoms. If you're more after whimsy and taste then definitely get this package, as the amount you get for the price is fantastic and it's still bluish (adding lemon juice helps as the purple is still gorgeous), but if you're only buying this tea for the colour and/or social media use, I'd skip it.
