I've bought a few different pairs of socks from a few different stores to find something thicker and comfortable, and these do the trick. There's some fraying of the material evident already, so I don't think they'll last forever, but they're my most comfortable socks right now.Update: I've upped my rating to 5 stars - there was a lot of pilling in the first week or two, but after a few washes the socks stabilized and they're simply lovely. If they hold up well by the start of next winter I'll buy another set.
