Venus Laowa 15mm f/4 Wide Angle 1:1 Macro Lens with Shift for Canon EF Mount

I think this is a very good, sharp lens. I bought it because of the comibination of wide-field and macro. The tilt option is interesting but I doubt I will use it very much. It is quite a unique lens. To get the full 1:1 macro magnification you need the subject to be almost touching the lens which is a real problem for imaging live critters but it is a good lens for making you think more about your settings because it is manual. Some have said it is hard to focus. If you find that to be the case for you, try using live view and the zoom option to help improve it. You'll need a bit of patience with this lens but the end results are worth it.
