BTR Waterproof, Windproof & Breathable Bike Helmet Cover

I have two of these helmet covers – one sent in exchange for a fair, honest and unbiased review and a second which I purchased for my second bike because they are so good and I want to ensure I never head out on my bike without one.They are especially lightweight, fold up small to fit into small pocket and can be quickly fitted to any child or adult-sized helmet, including a helmet with a visor. They are fully adjustable due to the drawstring fitting so simply fit over the helmet and the drawstring tightens to fit.Being both wind and water-resistant, they provide an additional layer of protection in poor weather. Ventilated helmets are great in warm, sunny weather but when cycling in cold winds then the head can become chilly but these provide a breathable, wind-resistant outer layer so head remains warm. Unlike a plastic cover it is breathable so the head doesn’t sweat, even on an all-day ride or in warmer weather. In wet weather, they are absolutely essential in anything more than a few light showers. I find the ventilation holes in my helmets can channel rainwater through and leave me with a cold and wet head which is no fun with thick hair which then remains cold and wet all day. Adding one of these helmet covers as an outer shell ensures the rider’s head remains dry even in the heaviest downpour – and here on the Welsh border we have many of these.In addition to providing protection in wet and windy weather, they are also highly visible. I find the bright red colour stands out in almost any surroundings and I like the yellow because it matches much of my other high-vis gear. Each also has reflective stripes to the side and a reflective logo to the front but, unexpectedly, no reflective stripes to the rear which is where I would most expect to find them.Very highly recommended for increased visibility and for protection from wind and rain. A definite 5-star product and I would happily buy more (and probably will).

So, the pink helmet cover is very PINK :) If that's what you're looking for then you're going to love it. It's a nice bright, reflective colour and it also have reflective stripes on it as well. It's obviously not a fashion piece, but I don't think it looks 'stupid' or anything like that.It fits the helmet pretty well, our only concerns with it is that it could potentially blow or fall off if the elastic/pull system loosened somehow as there is no inbuilt system to attach it to the helmet. There is, however, a sort of loop on the back that you could get a piece of string on and tie it to the helmet to be safe, or maybe thread the cord through that and the helmet as an alternative. Realistically though, I don't think there's too much danger it would come off, it's just something you might want to consider if it's windy or if the fit on your helmet isn't quite perfect.Most importantly it keep the rain off the top of your head and for if that's what you care about then I think this will impress you for the price :)

Smooth transaction. At first I thought it was too small. Opened up the cord and pulled down tight. Lovely snug fit. Should be a match for Irish rain. Got the yellow one - can never be too visible on a bike.

It fits my helmet and is waterproof, BUT. The band hangs off the side and is constantly annoying my ears and my neck. It also isn't elastic, so tightening it is not easy/secure. I have lost the cover multiple times in heavy wind.

Bought this for my wife to use on a trip up the Northumbrian coast. It rained incessantly for two out of the three days we were away. The only part of her that stayed dry throughout was the top of her head. Due to that we are now looking at buying other BTR branded waterproof clothing.

Great item, prefect for me.

Just barely fitted over helmet with a visor fitted. The pull cord's long but effective. I tied the excess cord to the helmet a) to prevent losing it completely in the wind and b) to stop the cord dangling and being annoying.First night out it both rained lightly and was very windy. The cover never moved a bit and the water bubbled, so it works well. I was surprised by two things - how it didn't tear when I pulled it vigorously over the pointy front of the visor and how warm it made my head. Overall happy, seems tough just wish it was about an inch bigger to fit visored hats more easily.

Kept my head very dry. The reflectors are fantastic for warning other road users about your presence on the road, however the side reflectors on the helmet are probably more useful to warn motor vehicles approaching from the side or front rather than from behind. The stitching is fantastic and keeps the wind and rain out. The material is of high quality. The head cover fits snugly on my extra large bicycle helmet (with little room to expand).The cover will keep out most of the rain, however I would recommend getting cycling glasses to keep the rain from getting into your eyes, as these do not keep the rain out from dripping into your face or eyes. This helmet cover is mainly for keeping the top part of your head from getting wet.Would recommend this helmet cover for all those looking for a cheap, high quality and waterproof helmet cover.

Einfach auf den Helm ziehen und mittels Kordel festziehen ... hält, reflektiert gut, ist wasserdicht, schützt vor kalter Luft. Würde ich wieder kaufen.

Räcker precis över vuxen hjälm. Spännas hård på hjälmen annars flyger den av när det blåser. Mycket bra med reflex mtrl. Du syns i mörkret.

Il copricasco si adatta perfettamente al casco che ho. Oltre ad essere impermeabile è utile per non far passare il vento e d'inverno serve!

Billig och tunn plast, långt ifrån prisvärd.

La house de casque est facilement adaptable au casque et protège efficacement du vent et de la pluie. Après près d'un an d'usage au quotidien, la housse est toujours en bon état (j'utilise mon casque environ 1h par jour en semaine). Je recommande vivement ce produit.
