OrajelMouth Gel, Denture and Ulcer Relief, Fast Acting Oral Care Treatment, Benzocaine 10%, 5.3g

I’m currently dealing with toothache and have an awful fear of the dentist, so I brought the Orajel as a just in case I need it item!Well the past two days I have needed it while I try and get brave and try and get an elusive NHS dentist appointment. It works very quickly and you can feel it numbing your mouth. The main numbness lasts about 20 minutes but it keeps the pain right down for about 6 hours, at which you can then reapply it up to a maximum of 4 times a day (always read the leaflet).It comes in a little tube but a little really does go a long way it’s excellent value for money.

Best stuff I have tried for ulcers and I suffer a lot due to chemo treatments .Really numbs the area for a fair amount of time. I have tried many brands but find this the most effective

It works just as well for denture irritation (for those more distinguished than me) as it does for ulcers or general “mouth misery.”Yes, the flavour is… let’s say “medicinal chic,” but honestly, when your mouth feels like it’s on fire, you’ll forgive it anything.Verdict: An absolute lifesaver in miniature form. It doesn’t solve life’s problems, but it does make eating crisps slightly less of a torture session.

Great for mouth ulcers. Much stronger pain relief than most oral gels.

Holy moly- yes the bottle is small however it’s the best thing I’ve used in my mouth ulcers- numbed it straight away - I have a massive toothache and it’s taken 90% of the pain away so I can actually get on with my day! It’s amazing

Good value and easy to use. Works well for toothache or sore gums. Taste pleasant c.

This is great in that it’s easy to apply (I used a cotton bud) and numbs the area BUT it lasts hardly any time at all and you can only use it four times a day you’d need double that. So yes it does work but not for long
