Solid three stars for this.My girlfriend won't let me shave the dog, so our little beast takes advantage of this and gets her hair on, and in, everything we own. Even the box of books in the loft, which is impressive because that's been up there before we got her. After paying mortgages for whoever owns the companies that manufacture lint rollers, and wanting a less wasteful way of not looking like a low budget wolf-man, I thought I'd give this thing a whirl. Why not, for the price? Now, I wasn't expecting miracles like others have reported in the review section, but was swayed by those saying it can get Jack Russel fur out of where ever. Our doggo isn't a JR, so it sounded like I was on to a winner with this.Don't get me wrong it does remove some fur (maybe 50%?) after a few passes, following the advice to dampen the bristles first, but it never gets the lot. With a lot of effort you can do a fairly decent job on bigger things like sofas, but if you're running late to work and a needlessly hairy dog jumps all over you while you're tying your shoes this will try it's best to scrape a tiny amount off your clothes. It's a bit maddening to be honest for what I wanted to use it for the most, but I wasn't exacting miracles. It's less wasteful compared to sticky alternatives, easy to use and clean, but it really isn't anything to shout about. It does an adequate job on most things (and to be fair I've never found anything as good as this for getting fur out of the car carpet).

Cheaper than sticky lint rollers in the long run, learn to use the two together...
Yes it does work but not on every fabric, I still use sticky rip off tape lint brush too and when I say not every type of material I mean if this brush won't my two cats off something it means only a sticky roller will work, we all know there are some fabrics that only a really sticky lint roller (which happens to be on here really cheap too) or a wet hand or wet latex glove trick will work. If you use it a lot like I do you soon remember which fabrics it's better on and those which its crap and once you remember that you'll see the benefit of it. It's made really well and strong and the handle is weighted too which I thought was a nice touch, it should be a little wider too maybe a third row of bristles. Don't buy the small one just buy the big one, now I've brought loads of gizmos brushes gadgets and the like to rid me of my total bane of my life CAT HAIR, it really does my head but I love my cats lol this brush is at this moment in time the best ever lint brush I've bought, been using mine for a while now and always keep it handy cause the best to keep hair off stuff is to stay on top of cleaning it so it doesn't build up, all the bristles are stick standing straight up which I still find surprising seeing you can be really rough with it and none of the bristles have bent yet and my last bit of advice is keep the bristles clean and watch the really good Lilly Brush video by the makers it show you everything you need to know about it and how to maintain it and some handy tips too, enjoy.... P.S. To be honest I know sticky lint rollers are really really cheap but this brush has honestly saved me at least £25 in sticky rollers already lol...

Ergonomic handle with hair attracting surface that's great for furniture!
Had been concerned that the shape may not work but love this brush! Although very simple looking, it does collect hair on furniture very well and it feels ergonomic when using. It leaves behind some hair from clothing compared to the traditional flat velcro brush but useful nonetheless. The hair also moves to one edge while brushing which makes the hair easier to remove from the brush - you just need to check it more often so it doesn't fall off or spread to the surface you are brushing.

absolutely brilliant!
hands down the best £10 i have ever spent. with 2 little furboys, a shihtzu, and a westie, this is an absolute godsend to their endless shedding on my carpets! it took 10 minutes to do my large bedroom, and the amount of hair it picked up, despite having only vacuumed 2 days ago, was incredible! i am so happy with this purchase! i have only had it 2hrs, but have already recommended it to 5 friends! get it bought, you won't regret it for a second!

Excellent product! I have a long haired collie and ...
Excellent product! I have a long haired collie and a short haired lab/collie cross and this, when dampened as per the instructions, removes both types of hair from sofas, coats, carpets, rugs, etc. almost instantly with very little elbow grease. When not dampened I have found it required a lottle more effort to achieve the same results.

Handy tool but wouldn't trade it for a lint roller
So I have a bullmastiff and we have just learnt to accept his fur gets everywhere. I usually use a lint roller but wanted something tougher as sticky paper wasn't doing the trick. This brush is great, works a lot better wet. I have used it both on my clothes and furniture. When i use the brush on myself it can take a bit of elbow grease and the fur does end up on the floor whereas it was leas cleanup with a standard lint roller. Still a great product to have in my bag or around the house

I have three cats and a collie who all think the sofa is for them so a quick sweep with this in between hoovers is great.
Does work really well but you have to get the sweeping to and fro action right or it doesn't work as well as expected. I have three cats and a collie who all think the sofa is for them so a quick sweep with this in between hoovers is great.

Very good at removing animal fur
Very good at removing animal fur. Only problem is that you have to clean to get the fur out which can make the process take a bit of time. Apart from that a very good product and cheaper in the long run than the 'sticky roller' hair removers.
