The Bhagavad Gita for Daily Living

I had read Paramahansa Yogananda's commentary but found it very detailed but a little too heavy on footnotes. This commentary and transition, however, is easy to read yet just as valuable or more.Every page contains a least one gem and a slow reading is really transformational. So happy I found this.

Absolutely amazing. I would recommend this to anyone seeking to learn and grow regardless of what enthusiast you’re from. To expand on a spiritual perspective/ journey.There will never be enough words to describe my experience so I’m not even going to attempt!What I can share is I have read over 175 great others Wayne dyer , Dr David Hawkins, Dr Joe Dispenses, Eckart Tolle this is just goes on, All wonderful amazing advice on personal development/ growth spiritual awakening and there is absolutely nothing that come even near to what’s waiting not to mention awake you. But then the teachings are from a spiritual Lord. I had no idea that how timeless it was. If only people would just wake up and not be so in to what is now a material world.Eknath Easwaran has this amazing ability to simplify some if not the most complex scriptures ever written and bring it up to date even if it was more the 40 or more years ago. Let’s face it these scriptures were done before. Christ.This is a journey. Anyone wanted to know were and how Yoga originated from what’s it’s actually really about and not what is described??? The birth of Meditation Then I strongly suggest this is definitely a place to learn its actual concept.Please note this is only one of the many many topics you will learn. This is like the Big Bang.This is a life manual which I will continue to use over and over agin for as long as I live or until I have completely digested it the point I’m living it🙌I thank you universe for directing me to this wonderful treasure trove. Finally my searching is over🙌

Bhagavadgita simplified in a very effective way

I love Easwaran's translations of the Gita and, in fact, the Upanishads and the Dhammapada. His writing style is so lovely and simple, bringing these life lessons into scenarios I relate to today. I've got 9 of his books in total now. That's how much I rate him. Shame he's left his old 'jacket' behind and transcended. I'd have really liked to have met him. Also, these 3 volumes came all the way from India, nicely wrapped and arrived in perfect condition much sooner than expected, knowing how far they had to come. Thank you! x
