Makes good filter coffee, easy to use. It's a little messy to clean - I am tending to rinse/clean it manually after each use, although perhaps once or twice week I give it a deep-clean by putting it into the dishwasher. The metal mesh I think leaves the coffee with a very slightly greater depth of favour than is obtained by using paper filters and the coffee remains pretty clear, so long as an appropriate grind of coffee is used, medium-grind rather than more finely ground such as used for making espresso (I have another espresso coffee maker for that). It seems of good, robust quality so should last for a number of years I think, but I still occasionally use disposable paper filters for more convenience if I'm in a hurry. Very happy with it, and it fits my filter coffee machine very well.

I have a Delonghi coffee machine and got so fed up with the paper filters doubling over and making a mess of my counter with the coffee going everywhere except in the pot! I measured it up and even though I did think it would be a little bit too high (which it is), with a little gentle manoeuvring it fits without sticking when opening and closing the filter door. I wasn't able to find a reusable filter that stated it fitted a Delonghi, so this is fabulous and filters coffee like a dream. No more rubbish paper filters and no more mess. Very happy.

I am using this in a Melitta AROMA ELEGANCE DELUXE machine. I had to cut a piece out of the filter to make it fit due to the machine. It works well except when I put on a 3/4-full jug then the coffee can slightly creep over where I 'modified' it. Doesn't cause a major issue though.

I got sick of buying, using and then disposing of paper filters, which, let's face it, when soggy and full of used coffee grouts, are pretty disgusting things. This little beauty, with its own little handle, is so easy to empty. No mess, just a quick rinse under the tap and it's like new again. Does it filter the coffee properly?....you bet it does, or I wouldn't be writing this!

Perfect for Melitta look IV, just the right size! Seems very durable as well, highly likely that will last longer than a plastic version. Great buy, highly recommend for Melitta machines if you don't want disposable filters occasionly splitting on you, and you want stronger coffee, since this will let more taste through!

I like that this is so convenient to use.. fill, add hot water, drain and serve.. afterwards discard and rinse.. genius.. couldn’t ask for more..! -and if you want a once a week disinfect, IT IS DISHWASHER SAFE.. omg, prize buy🤸🏾‍♀️🤸🏾‍♀️🤸🏾‍♀️

Bought this to avoid using paper filters in our Melitta LOOK V and it works well. You have to slightly bend the rim of it to make it fit but it is very snug and all the water seems to go into it and through the coffee fine. Looks good quality and we leave it on top of the unit when not in use so it doesn't put pressure on the unit all the time. Very pleased.

If you want a cost effective and more environmentally friendly alternative to disposable paper filters, then this product works well and the coffee tastes good.

Passt gut, lässt sich auch prima nach Gebrauch entleeren und reinigen. Auch stabil für langen Gebrauch.

PREMESSA Questa recensione giunge a distanza di due anni dall'acquisto. Prima di recensire questo prodotto ho desiderato testarlo per bene, utilizzandolo 4 volte a settimana. Le foto che allego rappresentano il filtro universale oggi, dopo due anni di utilizzo con caffè americano e orzo. ESPERIENZA DI UTILIZZO Utilizzo questo filtro universale assieme ad una Severin KA 4049 e devo dire che il caffè americano che viene fuori è di ottima qualità. Il filtro è composto da una rete di metallo, molto resistente, e da bordi in plastica che ad anni di distanza sono ancora totalmente integri. Ogni volta che utilizzo questo filtro, lo lavo sempre in lavastoviglie al fine di rimuovere completamente lo sporco. CONCLUSIONI Non posso che consigliare questo filtro universale. Sono rimasto impressionato dall'elevata qualità dei materiali utilizzati e, allo stesso tempo, rappresenta un modo più ecologico di fare il caffè americano o l'orzo, rispetto ai filtri in carta usa e getta. Ad oggi non so quanta carta ho risparmiato, ma sono certo che questo filtro durerà per molti anni a venire.

tout juste satisfaite de ce filtre permanent qui correspond donc à la taille des filtres papier n° 4 et se place très correctement dans le porte filtre de ma cafetière et le café passe très bien, il est bon et je n'ai plus besoin de vérifier s'il n'y a pas de débordement du filtre. Je recommande vraiment.

J'ai acheté ce filtre pour remplacer les filtres en papier jetables et j'en suis ravi. Il s'adapte parfaitement dans ma cafetière. Économique et écologique, il s'amortit très rapidement. Le maillage en acier inoxydable est très fin, il retient bien le marc de café et se rince en quelques secondes sous le robinet. Je recommande !
