Channing TatumG.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra/G.I. Joe Retaliation [DVD] [2013] [2009]

This two film DVD set cost me well under £3, while the Bluray set would have cost over £15.They are the sort of films that would look better on bluray than DVD, but they are also kids films and the disks (even the more durable bluray disks) would probably not survive careless handling over the summer holidays - also, a lot more devices will play DVDs than will play blurays so the kids have more options for watching them without fighting over the PS3.So £3 for two films is a bargain - but if the DVD and bluray prices had been similar, I may have bought the bluray version.

I originally watched these movies on DVD...but when I changed my system to 5.1 and blu ray I waited until the double pack came out and got it...It's action packed all the way and the quality of the movies themselves first class and the sound incredible, giving a great steering all around the room... I'm not going to go on about the movie itself as everyones tastes are different...but if action is your bag, then look no further...and get them in this blu ray package as the sound is great also..Cheers

The first one isn't too bad, it has Channing Tatum in so that's always good but the second film gets a bit low. It is what it is G I Joe! Has some humour in it and is pleasant use of a couple of hours, just don't take it seriously. I would probably give 4 stars for the first and two for the second hence the three stars.

1st film is good old action movie fun. 2nd film is a basic cash grab with very little story

Great comic book films that are entertaining with plenty of action. Just park your brain and enjoy the scifi hokum for what it is. If you like the Marvels films and Agents Marvels of Shield etc. then you'll probably enjoy these as well.

i bought this thinking they are a good films, i am happy they are enjoyable to see two action movies.
