Perfect garden incinerator at a bargain price
Absolutely ideal garden incinerator. I waited to review this as I wanted to do so only after having used it a few times. We couldn't find one of these for less than £34 in local retailers, and weren't sure about any of those on Amazon which were available using Prime, having read some of the reviews. So we went non-Prime to try this one as the balance of reviews looked good and the price was where we needed to be (I thought under £20 for a decent incinerator would be easy - it wasn't). This arrived in 48 hours despite just paying for regular postage, so only 24 hours slower than Prime. I bought on the Thursday and was burning on the Saturday. I was out when it arrived, and returned home to find that my 12 year-old son (under some guidance from my wife) had assembled the burner, put the feet on etc. So I never saw how complex that was, but they normally give practical tasks to me and it took them under 15 minutes... so looks as though it was very easy to me. They said that it was a doddle. I checked their work (sorry!) and it all looked sturdy. We lit it at 11am that morning, and had it burning constantly until 1845 that evening. We were making such good progress (rare with our four 'helpers' aged 4-12...) that we even had a picnic lunch in the garden while continuing to chuck stuff in. We cut back a mature holly bush, which was eight feet tall, reducing it to four feet, and it burned the lot in four sessions. We have used it for a range of garden waste and it has transformed the garden and how we see it. The lid is a great feature - it funnels the smoke away a bit more, gives a more intense burn, is safer and means that you can step away for 30 seconds without worrying that a spark will get out of hand. We have now had it lit for over 50 hours straight, so while the shine has gone under the heat (it's more dull white in colour in many places, now), it is structurally as sound as ever. Given it already owes us under 40p an hour I'd be pretty relaxed if it keeled over now, given the difference it has made to our garden. However it looks as though it will have HUNDREDS of hours left in it, at which point it is the original bargain. If ever we break it I'll just buy another, identical one, from the same supplier. So that's about as clear as I can be in terms of my view on it. It did the job perfectly at a bargain price and arrived very quickly. What's not to like? I even got an impromptu picnic out of it.And as there seems to be some doubt, from reading the reviews, ours came with the holes all the way to the top, as you can see from the picture!

Excellent product at good price
Although first impressions were it seemed a bit flimsy. I have used it 4 times to burn 16 old fence panels. The heat was unbelievable but it stood up to the challenge. Very happy.

Several dings in the lid
There were several dings in the lid but I was not too bothered as this will be set on fire so I am not worried about cosmetics. However, its either needs a thicker lid or mare careful handling during shipment. It burns pretty well once up to temperature but it still pretty smokey. I was expecting an incinerator to burn very hot and eliminate much of the smoke that annoys the neighbours. Perhaps I had unrealistic expectations but it does not burn any more cleanly than a smokey bonfire issue.

Good quality and works very well
Very good incinerator. I've had similar before but this is the best one yet. The holes all the way up work really well because ash filling up the bottom holes doesn't affect the burning as it does in ones with holes only at the bottom. Very pleased and a very helpful seller too.

A good product
This is a good incinerator. It uses reasonably thick gauge sheet metal and the handles are riveted to the body and lid as opposed to being spot-welded. The ventilation holes are spread all the way from bottom to top. It burns anything that's combustible. Keep the lid on to prevent flames from leaping and swirling around in the breeze.I have looked at incinerators sold by three major DIY chains, but this one is better and cheaper than any of them. Their incinerators did not have ventilation holes all the way to the top, and their handles were spot-welded. Spot welded handles tend to get easily ripped off the body and lid.

Completely rusted and collapsing after a few months outside
Does a decent job of keeping garden and household burnables down, it's light enough to tip the ashes out of easily However this had rusted to the point of the metal starting to 'tear' around the holes within months of owning. After 10 months it's now come to the point where it's becoming unsafe as the legs are getting wobbly in the weak rusted metal, so need to replace. Our old bin of a similar design took a few years to get to that point. Wouldn't buy again.

Airholes allowing even burn.
Great incinerator get rid of all your rubbish quick, I used to use my chiminea to burn my personal papers and some other rubbish but bought this incinerator and got rid of all my stuff in one go, the air holes help allow draft to burn through the paper quickly, it was very easy to attach the feet too allowing the air to circulate all round. The lid also stops flyaway whilst still allowing the burn to continue. DO BE CAREFUL IF TAKE LID ON AND OFF as it gets VERY HOT.

Great but only has three feet
This is an improvement compared to our old burning bin that rusted to pieces. The holes on the sides are larger so more air gets in, which reduces the smoke. My only complaint is that is only has three feet, making it unstable when i want to take something to turn what's burning inside, it has a tendancy to be unstable and want to tip. I have had to place a rock under an edge to even out the imbalance to stabalize it so it does not tip over when I am burning. That is my only complaint.
