Cad mouse
Used in 3D CAD and also web browsing. Annoyingly The 2 side buttons get in the way a bit. Eg inadvertently press and suddenly go back to previous page! Due to my ham fistedness. Not tried to disable them in settings but it might be possible.Otherwise good quality kit.

Perfect cad mouse
This is the perfect cad mouse, one of the few mice available with three dedicated buttons and a separate scroll wheel. The only mouse I will use for work. Carry case is very useful and compact as well. Very customisable and very comfortable fr all day use.

My new desktop mouse for my Mac (needed the third button for CAD)
So far so good. Remains to be seen whether the scroll wheel readily fails or it is an example of you only ever hear about the failures. Fingers crossed!

Fantastic at first
Love my 3Dconnexion cad mouse and use it with my wireless space mouse. Fantastic mouse but I'm now on my third as they don't last. There are multiple threads on the internet about the scrolling wheel which eventually starts skipping and having a mind of it's own making it unusable for CAD work.

Wireless mouse does not work properly in OSX
The mouse doesn't work with the supplied wireless receiver in osx. After hunting for a solution, buried in their faq it helpfully says, none of the buttons will click in osx with the supplied wireless receiver. Use bluetooth instead or plug it in with a cable. Are you kidding me?The CadMouse Pro Wireless - does not work with Wireless?Drivers are some of the worst I have ever had the misfortune to use, they wont provide tech support without collecting a tonne of personal info, before even letting you access the support area.Add to that, the mouse feels incredibly low resolution over bluetooth with skipping and occasional missed clicks. For this sort of money, its frankly a joke.Buyer beware.
