The sensor lights are not turning on when I plug it into the Wii . Do I need to do something else to turn it on?

I do not see lights on my sensor so not sure I understand, the bar does not light up, are you seeing lights on back of console? If concerned hook up and ensure fresh batteries in remote the load/put in a game and test

The perfect replacement

I purchased this because the one that came with our Wii quit working. After not being able to use our Wii for awhile we almost considered getting rid of it. I searched for a replacement and found this one at a great price so I thought I would give it a try. I am happy to say it works and was easy to connect. We are happy to be able to play on the Wii again. I would recommend this for anyone needs a replacement sensor bar for their Wii console. The price is right and it even came with the stand to attach to the top of the tv so it won't fall off.

In 2006, we bought this for our daughter (seven at the time). When we discovered the sensor bar that came with the WII was damaged, I searched for a new one (Amazon is always my go to for anything). It is as if it were the original one. My son (11) loves playing with the WII! The WII has stayed durable and the quality of the numerous changes in game systems, it is still as if playing one as if it were new. I HIGHLY recommend the replacement if the WII sensor bar is damaged!!!
