Looks cool in real life
Really good budget survival knife, seatbelt cutter in the handle and glass breaker on the end. Pretty sharp out of the box but not shaving sharp. Looks very cool in real life just don't look too close or you'll see they cut costs in the orange finish, one star off for that.

Maybe ok for £20...likely fake
Well...feels sturdy, blade is very sharp and I'm happy mine locks up firmly on every open - okay for £20But...the item pictured in the amazon advert is the Boker 'Medic' from their Magnum range. The knife I have received is not labeled the same way and has a number of differences - so let's spot the differenceDifference 1 - The labelling on the blade - in fact I notice even other reviewers have subtely different labels - mine says Magnum - others say M Magnum - note though the blade is sharp and its a good grind.Difference 2 - Fixings: The main blade pivot bolt is different - the boker medic does not have a star/torx type bolt - this knife comes with a torx key which fits the main pivot and the thumbstud - strangely the other fixings are allen bolts but I cannot find one that fits - it's not 1.5 or 2mm somewhere inbetween. Also the fixings are not all on one side but a mixture - I do worry this knife will not be serviceable. The enamel badge/emblem is poorly filled - not a functional issue but attention to detail suggests to me this is a cheap knock off.The knife arrived well packaged in a tin with an embossed lid - fine - different logo on the tin to the one on the knife (M Magnum vs Magnum) - the belt cutter blade ( pictured) has surface rust on it which is disappointing. Also there are a number of little nicks in the scales on both sides, some of which are beneath the paint possibly showing a low quality manufacturing process. All in all - if it wasn't for the great grind on the blade and the low price I'd be sending this back for sure...and for me this is going to be a tool box knife - it's not legal as an EDC in the UK anyway - don't be mistaken on that....the extra utility of the belt cutter is what attracted me to it.In short - blade good - build acceptable at the price - nothing special. Are we getting ripped off - well have a look at the boker 'medic' on their site - currently at less than 30 euros - don't know about postage cost on top...depends what you need it for.

Good blade though scrimped on handle quality
As per Boker blades, this did not disappoint, good and sharp straight out of the box, however the handle Finish is easily marked which is a real shame , quite a cheap handle finishing that is soft and marks easily, but all in all for the money I’m happy with the knife as a daily work horse, 4 stars, value, quality and blade

Coolio
Is a great knife but not the greatest. Good value for money.

Safety knife for vehicles
The knife comes in a dark grey metal box - this is important because in the UK you are not allowed to carry a lock knife which this is. However this knife is to be stored in my vehicle in close proximity to the driver - hence the need for the box in which to store it in a glove box. The blade is adequately sharp but I doubt if the belt cutter would work. The glass breaker is a stud at the end of the handle. Why did I buy such a knife - because I read about the man dying in his corvette with his dog because he was locked in by an electrical fault. Yes it is fit and forget until you may need it and then it is there. It is not going to be used for anything else because that would mean it would walk - hence why I bought a lock knife - if it walks it is illegal carry.

Not bad at all
Not a bad knife I am sure it will come in handy on exercises. However the scratches on the orange paint of knife is my only problem with it but other than that a good heavy knife.

Good value, but is it EDC?
For its money it's a good knife. I like that you can change between locking and non-locking blade. However, it was described as UK EDC compliant but I think the blade is a little too long.
