bought this for my outdoor hot tub that lives under a gazebo. This mat holds water like a sponge and is often still wet days after i've used it or it rains.

It seems to be made out of quality material. I like that is it has rubber bottom and the top is like an outdoor carpet. It is waterproof and it dries fairly quickly if it rains. The fiber does traps thing that land on it, grass dead bugs twigs ect. However you can use the water hose to spray it clean. And it definitely helps to protect the bottom of my inflatable hot tub since it is sitting outside on a concrete patio.

I bought this mat to go under a folding kiddie/dog pool to prevent rips or tears from sticks on the grass, etc. I've used it a few times now and it certainly does its job. It's a very soft material (think felt) with a waterproof backing. I leave it on the deck railing to dry afterwards and can easily fold it up to store away when not in use.
