I really love Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind and this book is perfect for anyone who loves it too. It shows lots of watercolour paintings Hayao Miyazaki has painted and also features his comments on them and what they were used for. Also included are many sketches he drew when designing the film and seeing Nausicaa develop is very interesting. Contains maps, diagrams and sketches for the film too.Super!

If you like the Nausicaä manga, this is essential reading. If you are after film stills and cel art, get "The Art Of Nausicaä" ISBN 978-4-19-814560-6 instead (only in Japanese). As the title suggests, this book only contains (beautiful) watercolor art, mostly for the promotional and cover art material related to the manga and concept art for the film.

A fantastic art book, it's full of concept work and full page illustrations. Any fan of Studio Ghibli or animation in general will love it.

Really great. Would have preferred it in English but sadly it has not been translated so glad to have this one in my collection.

No es como el otro artbook de viz media. Así que si tienes dudas, ya sabes. Este no se centra tanto en fotogramas de la película. Son carteles de la época y muchos bocetos. Un 10.
