I bought this to replace a Lidl riser rail and shower head. The Lidl shower head was so large and heavy that the shower head holder couldn't keep the head up! I bought a more robust clamp but after a few months that too failed.This Shower kit is way better quality. However, it's very lightweight. This, for me, is a big plus. The shower head is of normal size and it nicely made but lightweight which means that it puts very little stress on the holder. This means that the shower head stays put!The holder has a clever design for raising and lowering. There is a rubberised button you depress that releases the clamp enabling you to slide the holder up and down the rail to your desired height/position. It works well and is firm when the button is releases. You have to slide the holder up slightly to engage the locking mechanism and make the button pop back out.The pole itself is chrome finished metal and the rest is chromed plastic. It is sturdy once attached to the wall.The only slight issue is that the shower hose is fairly short (1m) compared to other showers so if you have a larger distance between the shower head height and the water source you may have issues if you like to use the shower by hand with the head removed from the holder. This is cheaply remedied with a replacement longer hose of course but you may want to check your measurements.It's very easy to fit and there have been no leaks. The shower spray is nice and even giving a comfortable shower on the default spray pattern.Very happy with this shower kit :)

Took 30 minutes to fit, solid, nice looking and works with no drips. Only downside is the hose is slightly shorter than the previous one. It's basically at it's max height with my setup in the picture. I'm 6 foot and it's perfect, if taller you may need a longer hose.Now my wife's happy!

Excellent replacement shower hose, head, rail and soap dish for Triton electric showers (may also be compatible with other brands of shower) easy to install and comes with all fittings required.

I now have this fitted and working, and the shower head seems to work well. That's why it gets 3 stars. But I have 2 issues with it, which is why only 3 stars.1. It was incredibly difficult to fit together at the point when the 2nd cover is fitted over the top bracket. No problem marking and drilling the holes, slotting in the rail and fitting the bottom cover - but then the upper cover just would not go on - the piece which is supposed to click in sits way too high and isn't flexible enough. I thought it was going to snap. I thought perhaps I had made a mistake with the holes, so I dismantled it and tried to fit it all together just in my hands - same problem with the 2nd cover. So put it back on the wall and tried every which way. At this point I would have sent it back, but after already dismantling the old one and drilling 4 new holes in the tiles I just couldn't face it.So in the end I had to grease the 2 parts and gave it a couple of smart hits and it went in. I don't think I will ever be able to get both covers off again without damaging the tiles.2. The shower head doesn't easily sit in the holder - it takes a bit of careful fiddling.I thought I was buying quality, it being Triton. I don't think it is.
