Learning Resources Basic Vocabulary Photo Cards

Can easily use these for basic vocab and then build on them

Great for speech therapy and helping my autistic child learn vocabulary. Come with easy to understand pictures on the cards with the matching word, worth the price.

I have purchased many of the 'picture my picture' flashcard packages The Emotions pack is particularly good for its representational images of children and adults from cross cultural backgrounds. The lettering displaying the written emotion is approximately font size 24 which is very clear for people with low vision. Would prefer a few more emotions (maybe 2 cards of each emotion rather than 4 so that more emotions can be represented).

I am a primary school teacher, so I have ordered this for my child and for my class. Pros: Good for introducing flashcards to children. Excellent photography of certain images (like weather). Cons: Some cards were not relevant - like side walk. Around 20 cards out of the entire pack were American-only based.

These are great cards and I use them with my English Language Learners to teach vocabulary. I love the fact that they are photographs and not drawings. They also contain the word on one side of the card and just the picture on the other. They are divided into common themes and the pics are of common places or things found in each theme. Easy to hold and pass around for smaller groups. I'd love to see a larger version as well.
