Much better than the suction cup
had one of these with a dash cam and was surprised at how good they are.bought this one for my other car that just has the suction cup mount.very please the camera no longer falls off part way through a trip or if I forget to remove it.

Good but already coming unstuck from windscreen less than a month after application. Could be because it's hot so that's effecting it's stickiness on the screen but still, I'd expect it to last longer than that. I recommend going with a suction cup one instead of the sticky magnet as at least you can reattach that to the windscreen again after it's fallen off.
