Model Railway General Stores Plastic Kit - OO Scale 1/76

Only given a three star rating as the assembly instructions are,in my opinion,a bit disappointing.The picture on the packaging,as opposed to the picture on the assembly instructions differ on the window fitting.Could do better.

I haven’t put it together yet, so I can’t say if it’s easy to assemble.It looks very good in the package but you will have to paint it because it’s all in grey plastic.

Bought as a Christmas gift. Although a well know brand, this is very poor quality, the plastic is warped and bowed making it virtually impossible to glue and get a good join. Very disappointed with this product

This kit is quick and simple to assemble and for the price is good value for money. After painting, the result looks fine and I would buy it again.

Easy to assemble suggest prepaint some parts

I am happy to cut and file pieces to fit, and the moulds are old and historic, but the recycled plastic (better for the environment for sure) warps easily especially if washed to remove paint. Roof ridge missing with this kit. Good to support a UK brand but the quality and finish compares poorly to say a Peco kit and despite time and effort this did not achieve the result I normally achieve with models. Buy two and learn on the first!

Despite its age, the kit had very little flash and went together quickly. There were a few small gaps to fill, but it paints up nicely. Item was delivered promptly and at a good price, so can recommend both kit and dealer.
