No More Forgetting To Water or Dying Flowers I’m Texas Heat!
Be aware that a drip system can often be something that needs numerous days and weeks to fine-tune, so you may need to play around with various drippers until every plant gets the right amount of water. All in all, this is a good starter kit so you learn how drip systems works. This is one of those things that is going to make my life much easier. No more dragging out the hoses and getting soaked from the oscillating sprinklers when I have to move them. I was a little concerned that installing this might be too much work for me and I would screw it up, so I asked my lawn guy to install it for me! It was worth the extra $20 added to my cutting grass fee.It did not take long for Oliverio to set it up, then he left. It was pretty easy to set up, as I stoop and watched him and he explained to me as he went along. The timer is connected to our outside facet and the hose is connected to the timer. It came with 100 ft tubing and 20 drip facets and 20 T brackets and 20 stakes. Plus a plastic cover to help protect the timer. Clear and easy instructions! The timer has two controls on the top base of it 1) for frequency and 1) for duration the are listed as 2,4,8,12,24,48,72 or 96 hours and the duration can run from 2,5,10,15,30,60,90 or 120 mins! Lots of time options which is perfect in this hot Texas heat!! this holds up in our blistering Texas heat, it will definitely be one of my better purchases.Oliverio set this up on Monday and I was so busy the rest of the week with no time to water and I had a camp out with my son with Boy Scouts Friday til late late Saturday. So no weekend watering for my flowers if it was not for the drip system!! Thank goodness I decided to try it out! My flowers stay perfectly watered, not too much not too little as you can see in my pictures. Please note and be aware that a drip system can often be something that needs numerous days and weeks to fine-tune, so you may need to play around with various drippers until every plant gets the right amount of water.Final Thoughts:All in all, this is a good starter kit so you can learn how drip systems works and get the job done for small areas.

Easy install!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This grip irrigation kit was really easy to install! The garden hose that supplies the water is connected to the top of the timer unit. The tubing that comes with the kit connects to the bottom of the timer unit. You get 20 T valves to customize the delivery system to your liking. You also get a set of 20 stakes and drip heads.Keep in mind that the heads are supposed to drip water slowly into your plants. My dad helped with this install and made the mistake to completely open the first two drip heads and let water flow freely—not a good idea as the other heads down the line won’t get enough water pressure to deliver water. You’ll have to play around with the drip heads (the green piece) to adjust them to a point where you’re completely happy with the amount of water delivered to each plant. There are two controls on the timer unit itself—one to control the frequency that it runs and the duration of each run period. You have the option to turn the unit on every 2, 4, 8, 12 24, 48, 72, or 96 hours—or you can have it set to turn on once a week. Your duration options include 2, 5, 10, 15, 30, 60, 90, and 120 minutes. My install for this goes to several vegetables in our back yard even going to 3 small trees. So far, it’s working great. We have it running every 12 hours for about 10 minutes. Plants are well watered and happy.

Takes some time to set up.
Ever since I bought my condo, almost 9 years ago, I have been trying to grow plants in my backyard. The problem is sometimes I wouldn’t be home for a couple of days at a time and of course all of my plants would die. I wish I had thought about an outdoor irrigation system sooner! This Hoont outdoor irrigation system comes with everything you need to water several plants on a preset schedule. It does require two AA batteries which are not included. You put those batteries into the timer and hook the timer to your hose tap. Then it’s just a matter of running the tubing and installing dripper‘s near each of your plants. Finally, you set how often you want the sprinkler to come on and how long you want it to stay on. You also have the option of manual watering mode for when your leafy babies need a little bit of extra water.I only have about half of the system installed in my backyard plants at this point but it has been pretty easy to get set up. As long as you follow the instructions it is pretty foolproof but it does take a bit of time to get it set up. I’m excited for my summer plants next year, knowing that I won’t be forgetting to water them all the time and they’ll be hydrated and won’t fry in the southern California sun.

Great irrigation kit.
This is my first irrigation system and I definitely love it. It is easy to setup. I love that I can water each of my plants. You can set it up how you wish. You have your timer and can set it up how you need your plants watered. You can also set up how long you want your plants watered. The kit comes with everything you need. the quality is great and pretty durable. I'm not very good at keeping my plants alive and this will help me tremendously with my busy schedule. I also am horrible at putting things together and this was easy and I could follow it. I can use it for my garden (fruits and veggies) or I can use this for my flower beds. I am very pleased so far in my flower beds. I would definitely buy another for my other things that need watering.
