Perfect! Great quality.
I’ve had this clear ice ball maker for over a year and tested it many times. Using filtered water and following the instructions, the ice balls always came out clear and perfectly shaped. You just have to fill it to the correct level. I didn’t try tap water, but filtered water worked great. It consistently makes four ice balls by the next day. I also experimented with adding lemon or orange peel — they weren’t as clear, but still looked great in drinks. The inserts are high quality and durable; even when I pulled them out early, they never tore. It’s compact, easy for home use, and the ice releases best if you let it sit for a couple minutes before removing. I usually transfer the finished balls into a Ziploc bag and refill the mold. Overall, great quality and very reliable results.

Clear ice, just what your drink deserves
If you are ready to step up your drink ice game, this is a product that will help you along the way. Each freezing process provides you with four clear ice balls for your bourbon, whiskey, or drink of choice. The lower part of the tray gives you four slightly cloudy cones perfect for keeping you let’s water cool or giving the kids a fun cube for their soda or water. You can also save them to drop into mixed drinks. Key points: Use filtered water, wait 20-24 hours before trying to use the ice so the freezing process completes, the ice will pop out of the silicon with a splash of warm water on the top, the remnant cones in the pvc (?) slide out easier when running hot water around the pvc. Great design, use the outside chill box! Your first time might be off, by the second run you will be a pro. Good bang for the buck if you want clear ice balls.

Not 100 percent clear
Most of the ice spheres have visible cracks but for the most part, they’re clear.

Too small ice cubes, hard to get out
I've cubes did come out clear, but they are not perfect round shape, and they were pain to get out. Also size is too small, I should have read description instead of rely on the picture, were size of the ice does not represent true size comparable to glass used in the picture.

This works great
Arrived yesterday (2/3/25) followed the instructions and this morning, crystal clear ice spheres. Love them. Also the ice in the lower half of the container were also mostly clear other than a few bubbles at the bottom. I can also use these are crushed ice for my guests. Great product, good quality and very clear instructions. Thank you.

Clear & Perfect with some Pro Tips
Makes ice spheres as clear as glass that fit in my single old fashioned sized glasses. Takes about 18 hours. Pro Tip: use warm tap water (trust me) and if making batches, store in a ziplock freezer bag. One sandwich bag fits 4 spheres and keeps the freezer's defrost cycle from shrinking the balls. I've been using for a couple years now and it's been perfect.

Not making CLEAR cubes - Pics not accurate - Returning
These new clear cube makers are really nice. I have several. But this particular model does NOT do it. Most of the cube is clear, but not like the pictures in the listing. Also they are NOT 2" diameter, unfortunately. Very bulky for only 4 smaller spheres. For these reasons, I am returning. Other devices that have better insulation do make 100% clear cubes. May as well just use the old silicon ones if you are going to settle for ones this blue product makes. I was hopeful, but does not work as shown.

It works perfectly, but be prepared for extra work if you make mistakes when filling it up!
It works like a charm, however, there is a learning curve to actually using it efficiently. If you add too much water and get spillover when inserting the pieces (or get unintended parts of the device wet before use) there is a good chance it will become difficult to disassemble and get the ice out later on. Definitely attempt with hot water at hand if this is the case as you'll need to get excess ice that has accumulated around the edges to melt before you can separate the softer materials without risk of tearing them.
