Superbly built and presented!
I wanted a non-battery powered, but realistic looking train for my Grandson's Brio set - and I hadn't seen many to meet my requirements. But this suited the situation wonderfully and I was thoroughly impressed in how it was built and how it looked overall. Excellent addition to the set!

Kids love it
What a great way to introduce trains to kids. This was a present to be little cousin and have been informed since he's gone train potty! It is now his favourite toy and has been for months. It's very well constructed and tracks fit together nicely. It runs in the tracks smoothly and definitely encourages little ones to use their imagination. Worth every penny.

What a plonker
Firstly, my 22 month old LOVES this train. He's so animated with it and plays with it for hours and I feel we've already got huge value from it. But...Just as many others have pointed out - this is not an electric car. One review definitely suggests it is but having rechecked the spec it is definitely not. I've just spent 20 minutes inspecting the train as I was adament batteries must fit. But the wheels are embedded on a wooden under carriage that could no way fit a motor that could be operated from where the battery would go. Not for £16....Feeling a right bit silly at the moment. Hangover definitely to blame

Lovely looking train, but not battery powered
I bought this as I was looking for a battery powered train.... Which this is not. I was misled by another review which said it was. Anyway, I should have double checked the description and the box before I gave it to my son. Now he loves it and I can't return it.

The best engines
The best battery operated engines, sound and lights. Works perfectly fine on John Lewis wooden tracks. Fiddly battery changes but lasts a long time. My grandsons love them.

Think I loved it more than my 2yo nephew!
After countless weeks of being woken up by my beautiful nephew on a Thursday morning with 'Aunty Danielle... will you come and build my train track'... I was getting a little bored of watching him play with the same piddily little old brio trains round and round and round again... so decided it was time to buy him something better. Well... what can I say. This train did not disappoint. It it so much bigger and better than I expected... it whizzes round the track brilliantly when I.. I mean he.. pushes it... and it's very well made. He was jumping up and down with joy when we got all 4 trains on the track and it was such a good feeling seeing him so happy! Very well made and highly recommend this product!
