I used these on a recent trip to Florida and they worked great! I kept an empty one in my carry-on bag at the airport and filled it up as soon as I got through TSA. Boom! Water for the plane. Once in Florida, I filled them up (to the line that is marked on them--wouldn't go much further to keep them from bursting) and put them in the freezer for the beach the next day. Just by themselves, it took them around 90 minutes to melt completely back down but that could've been extended with a freezer bag or cooler--in which case they can double as a ice pack if needed. Once empty, you can roll them up and put them in your pocket. They take up very little space. If there is a negative to these, it's that the protective cap can sometimes be a bit stubborn coming off, but I would much rather have that problem than having it too loose and falling off when you aren't looking.

The large capacity is great. These work really well, especially for venues where you can't take in water bottles. Roll or fold them up, put them in your pocket, and fill them up at the water fountains inside.

Bought as gifts for a family trip to the theme park and they were perfect! Folded up small enough to keep in a small bag. Easy to fill up. Clip was a great add on. No bad silicone taste, a great price, and in bulk! Used daily over 5 days no breaks. My one complaint is that they do leak a bit from the top - make sure valve us closed and top is tight and it should be fine.

Haven’t used yet but I got it for that time when really needed I basically got it for my bug out or in and no water fits my straw for the time needed and if you are moving or camping or hiking and need water and you just grab water and keep moving nice design very durable fits in the pocket of any bag or backpack great price also hardly any weight to carry made very durable

Great when needed

I read other reviews which mentioned cracked lids and leaks so I did test all mine when I got them. I filled them all up to 20oz with water and then sealed them. With the lids and dustcaps on, none leaked air or water, however, one of them did leak a small amount of air but no water from compression test (5lb weight) without the cap on the lid. Overall I am happy with my purchase and gave two filters and bottles as gifts to my parents, keeping two for my family to camp with and one filter and two bottles for our emergency kit.
