Green Feathers Wooden Handmade Owl Bird Box, Timber Construction, Simple and Easy to Install in Your Garden (Owl Box)

Really nicely made, easy to install, plenty of room for a camera. I drilled two holes in the side and covered with perspex to increase the amount of light so the camera didn't switch to night mode to early.

The box arrived promptly It is sturdy - and the thickness of the timber was appropriate for a bird box. Birds choose solid boxes. My only reservation is that my own boxes were longer. However, other reviews indicate that owls were happy with this size. Considering the time and trouble taken, with cost of timber and postage, i consider this to be very good value for money, and recommend it to others. I am considering buying another for another part of the estate.

Not brilliantly finished but a hardy thing, fit for purpose

Seems a bit expensive compared with others but it is very well made and easy to fit. camera was easy to install in the box so we shall see if we get birds nesting in there.

I ordered this along with a Green Feathers Wi-fi Camera. The box is very well built and feels like it will last. However, this does mean it is quite heavy so it can be a bit awkward to mount high up if you need to climb a ladder. It came with clear instructions for mounting but you may need additional screws to mount to a wall. There is no metal ring around the hole (to protect against predators) but I have used it with the front open so not a problem for me. I would recommend and very pleased with the box. Just waiting for the birds to discover it.

I wasn't certain if my barn owl would take to this, shouldn't have worried, she loves it and i am happy that she is using it.

Lack of measurements I cut it down to a size more suitable to fit in my garden.

I had to buy a metal hole surround and fill hole in roof with wood filler so not very good finish. Still trying to find someone who can get their birdcam working! They make it sound so straightforward and easy to set up….it isn’t!!!
