Very good and easy to fit with care
This was very easy to fit provided you take time and do it correctly. I fitted this to my Whirlpool JT369 but this will fit most microwaves. Just measure the old one before you buy. You will save money by cutting to size to suit your particular microwave. Do not use scissors to cut the mica or it is liable to shatter. It is thin, it is meant to be thin. Best way is to remove the old one and use it as a template for the new piece. Use a flat protected surface to cut the mica. I used a chopping board on the kitchen table. ( I take no responsibility for you cutting into your wife's new table so make sure you protect it.) Place the old wave guide cover on on top of the new piece of mica and draw around it using a fine point marker pen. Make sure you also mark where the screw holes are. Now using a straight edge and a stanley knife with a brand new blade inserted, cut around the lines you have drawn. Be careful with the knife, again I take no responsibility for your trip to A&E to have stitches inserted. Once you have cut your new wave guide to size, use a sharp pointed object to make an impression where the screw holes would be. I used the tip of a very thin pozidrive screwdriver to do this. You could in fact use the screws to create the new holes before fitting. The screws on my microwave are self tapping screws so when I came to fit the wave guide back on it was fairly easy to enter the screws into the recess I made in the mica and start turning it with a screwdriver and it made its way through. If your screws are threaded then you may have to carefully drill a hole to size. Whole job took about 15 minutes to complete.

Easy fix provided you know how to replace it
Easily fix your ovens when they have sparks, so that instead of throwing them away , just replace this cover sheet and its back and up running. Mines happened for the second time but everytime the sheet lasted for few years atleast. Worth the money.

This saved me buying a new Microwave Oven!
Like another reviewer I was about to dispose of my 9 month old stainless steel MW which kept arcing and making a very alarming noise and whilst browsing for another I had the mind to do a Google search for "sparking MW". I quickly learned that a common cause of the arcing was a damaged waveguide cover. I pulled the cover from my MW and there it was... a scorched hole and bubbled surface!. I ordered two pieces of mica and they were delivered next day (excellent service) I used the old one as a template, marked it with a pencil and cut it out with a craft knife ( I made it a couple of mm narrower by cutting inside the pencil lines) I popped the two lugs into the far slots and bent the cover a little and popped in the two near lugs. Fitted like a glove! Now my MW is working perfectly and I'm wiser and richer!

For the microwave
Yes I’m very happy with it I want to cut into size the microwave that’s good. I didn’t know you could buy them for the microwave. Good value for money I recommend buying them but I need to buy a bigger size for the other microwave. I made a big long one, so if you sell the big long ones worldwide as well, please let me know. Thank you very much.

Great.
It make great sense because you can cut this product to fit. And it's much less expensive than the original product.

Easy to cut but too thick to fit
Fit is difficult as the material was too thick for the retaining lugs on our microwave.A pity as the quality is good and a good price too.
