Sega Saturn/Sega CD Replacement Jewel Cases (10 Pack)

I thought they fixed these with the revision. The trays dont close, 2 came in broken.. ridiculously disappointed.. ESPESCIALLY with LRG, you guys are usually better than this.

The fit and finish of the Second Run brand is a little better but these are fine, the tray snaps in a bit tight and the lid doesn’t fit manuals perfectly but these are nitpicks, when these were on sale I consider it a must buy if you need cases for any reason.

I would actually give these 4 stars but their current rating is too low. There are a couple things better about these over the 2nd run cases available on amazon. The top of the doors are too translucent on the 2nd run cases and they dont match OEM cases while in the shelf. These limited run cases match oem cases while on the shelf. They also have the larger pegs on the hinges like the oem cases have. The 2nd run pegs on the hinges are small like oem sega cd cases. All of these cases came crystal clear with no scratches.The doors latch more like oem cases as well however with some of them the bottom part of the doors didnt fully latch.

The packaging came and nothing with the packaging itself was damaged but the down the spine of each plastic case is a deep scratch anywhere form 1 to 3 inches. I figured I would just order a replacement batch and those also came with the scratches as well. I guess they are just pre-scratched to match your nostalgic memories of these Sega CD or saturn cases lol. No but seriously limited run needs better quality control with these.

Don't waste your money. I could be wrong but the cases themselves feel cheaper and thinner than the original. What I'm not wrong about though, is that not a single tray fits in the cases that they come with. Once you click one side down the other side pops loose and there's no way to latch them in.
