Work really well with my LED bulbs
I replaced the two clunky old transformers that drove my kitchen down-lights with one of these. Now I'm running six LED bulbs at 4W each, compared to the previous bulbs which were 20W each. Power is down from 80W to 24W, and it's actually brighter than the halogen down-lights we had before. The bulbs run rock steady (no flickering) and run cool. The bulbs I bought are slightly whiter than the halogen ones they replaced, and I'm extremely pleased with the whole set. I actually bought two of these, so the other one has replaced two transformers that drove the lights at the top of the stairs and the landing.Just in case you couldn't find the instructions... you open the mains connector panel (the grey panel) by prising it out with a flat bladed screwdriver.

Amazing but... pay attention to the details!
Amazing but... pay attention to the details!First of all - delivery with Amazon - fast as usual. The transformer killed instantly the LED flickering in my house, although there were 2 LEDs which still flickered, but in the end I found out (by swapping with working LED bulbs) the LEDs were defective. I replaced them and everything is working fine now. Attention should be paid to the 20% power reserve. Like with every other transformer the max. watts are just for short peak moments. I planned with max. 56VA per transformer. In my case 10 LED bulbs with each 5.5 watts. If you use a dimmer you have to count in that the dimmer uses power as well or at least increases the VA. I have 3 rooms with more than 60 watts light power in each one and quite long distances between the bulbs + small old cable cross-section. I decided to use the 105W version of this transformer, as it was cheaper than getting two with 70 watts. Works great as well and no LED flickering.Someone asked here how to open the power supply terminal and I found the Youtube video quite helpful. I bought 17 transformers and 1 didn't work from the beginning. They have a really helpful customer service and I got a new one within 24 hours.I'm very pleased with the products and customer service. Highly recommend it.

Great little LED transformer replacement
Bought this to rejuvenate my bathroom mirror unit which was use the old fashion transformer to power G4 25w bulbs. I simply replaced the transformer and the bulbs to LED G4 PIN 10. Solved my flickering issue as well.Giving 4 stars as this came with no instructions on wiring, simply bubble wrapped in an envelope. There's a youtube video on how to open the ends to access where wires need to be screwed down, see the product description.

12V / AC, 0 - 70W, No minimum load + No LED...
A great price, I've bought 4 since I found this seller! Easy to install and can handle the load of a full length 5m strip with no fuss whatsoever.UPDATE 21.9.17.......Since installing the last of the four I ordered to a 5m LED tape, It has since failed after 6 weeks of occasional use since August.Unfortunately, I can't contact the seller to inform them of this and request a (free) replacement. The other 3 are in perfect working order, but will they last at least a year??Seller, if you read this, pleae get in touch with me by email.Buyers, be aware, not all of these drivers are reliable!!

Failed after 3 months
This initially worked perfectly with a halogen 12v / 50w spotlight, and was bought because it should also work with LEDs which I intend to use eventually to replace the halogen lamps. Unfortunately it stopped working after about 3 months, which is beyond the date at which I can return the item.

Excellent
All my halogen bulbs were replaced by my energy supplier with LED low energy bulbs. Five were 12v transformer fed (four in the bathroom, one in hallway). While all GU5.3 6.3 12v Philips bulbs worked the four in the bathroom gave starting problems. I bought this transformer and they are stable, bright and excellent. The single was being fed from a very old wire wound transformer that was very unstable. As this was no longer listed on Amazon I bought a 20W (Red) ISOLED one but that did not work with the same bulbs. It would appear that GU5.3 12v bulbs can be AC or DC, I presumed that all 12v GU 5.3 bulbs would be the same.I also had all my 230v mains fed bulbs changed and these cause bad wi-fi and radio interference. This transformer does what it says no interference at all.

A great cheap buy if you are going to LED spots
I have spots in my loft conversion and one driver seemed to be constantly blowing bulbs. I have been going through a process of changing to spots when they blew, but then a driver packed in. After lots of reading I understand that the normal Halogen drivers need a minimal load to operate and can blow if you don't get it (I think). Anyway, I thought I'd try out an LED specific one.First things first, make sure your lighting circuit is off, and check it is off before starting work. AND make sure no clever person is going to fix the problem by turning it back on at the RCD box. From here fitting was pretty straight forward. The box un-clips and wiring was nice and easy. Put it all back together and slot it in the hole and it was working perfectly with and LED spot.

Disappointing Product
This transformer does NOT dim to zero. Fitted to run x6 Osram dimmable LED MR11. I would say it dims from 100 to 40 max. Disappointed.
