Taramps PRO 2.4S Car Audio DSP Equalizer 4 Channel Digital Crossover

East to install, easy to use. I just watched a video on YouTube. Great features and woke my sound system up big time! It definitely is worth the money!

I used this to correct the signal I was pulling from the vehicle stock subwoofer using a line converter. It peaked in the 40 to 50 Hz range and then rolled off fairly quick above and below that range. Using the Input Parametric EQ to push down that peak hump worked really well. I did end up using the 15 band eq's 25Hz band to gently push up my lows and now things are looking good. Would have been nice to get some printed instructions but once you get into it, it's not hard to figure out.

Works great for the portable speaker i built. I am a beginner and it was very easy for me to learn how to tune this dsp.

I have not gotten this installed as of yet. I got it two or three days ago. It looks like a high-end unit actually. I think it will work superbly for my needs. I would purchase it again. I think it's well worth the money I paid.

Very powerful DSP (digital signal processing). This is an Analogue Devices chip - very reliable company. It is fairly easy to set up. You will need some basic understanding of audio and beneficial processing. There are a stereo pair in (or 2 mono), and 4 sets of outputs. The processing capability is just right. 15 band equalizer, 3 parametric EQ fully adjustable, programmable crossover, and a limiter to keep things from being overdone. I have gone to extreme lengths to upgrade the audio in my vehicles. Had I know about this device, things would have been so much easier!! The next vehicle will use this, as opposed to the pile of gear from Crutchfield - it just does not need to be complicated. There are many tutorial videos on YouTube. While this unit is made by Taramps, the magic is in the DSP chip. This chip is used in Timpano, Stetson, PRV, etc. This unit from Taramps has been so far the easiest to use - I will review the other units next. If you make the leap to try DSP - you will not regret it. DSP can correct for all kinds of issues with speakers, acoustics, etc. I am using this one for a desktop monitor system with a subwoofer. Super sweet sounding, bass that will shake pant legs!

Prior to installing the Taramps DSP, I had no effective way to shape or balance the sound in my car audio. I added decent rear parcel shelf speakers, with their own amp, and a 1000W Subwoofer, with it's own amp. too. I COULD NOT get it to sound good. Enter the Taramps DSP. MAGIC! All of a sudden I have granular control of a TON of aspects that I simply couldn't influence before... Now I can figure out how much should go to my rear speakers, and how much goes to the subbie. And then I have the graphic equalizer settings, and all the rest! Honestly, for the money? This thing is AMAZING. I love it.
