I received a piece that was obviously used - with visible stains on the white elastic. Items do not have velcro opening at all so even if you had a doll small enough, it would be a challenge to get on and off. This item also does not appear able to fit standard or curvy Barbies.

It is very well made.

Dress is very pretty and seems well made. Christmas present for my granddaughter.

I knew the dress was going to be super long as seen in the picture. The description says that it comes with a petticoat to help keep its shape but there was no such petticoat with my dress so I had to make a skirt hoop to make the skirt from calapsing on itself. The red satin used for the hat and skirt looks and feels very cheap up close. The gold fabric shown in the picture is not the same on the bodice of the dress. The tulle used over the skirt with the gold sequin is very stiff ( that would have been perfect under the skirt for structure.) I did like the dress design and it fit the doll very well. The price of the dress reflects the materials used on the dress. It's perfect for children's play but for adult collectors just know you're getting what you are paying for. I purchased dresses from other vendors here with two or three dreses as part of the package that were beyond my expectations in craftsmanship and materials for $10-$14. I think I was hoping to be pleasantly suprised but in this case I got what I paid for. Buy at your own discretion.

I absolutely love this gown. I'm using as a bridesmaid gown for a Barbie wedding. But it could definitely steal the show & be the wedding dress. Definitely buying from this store again!

The Dress is very pretty; however, the velcro on the back of gold bodice is only at the very top and will not fit over any doll. I was not able to get a head or legs through it.
