Worked like a charm!
Thus worked like a charm! Lawn was overtaken by nutsedge and it was all killed within a week. No general week killer spray had any effect, so I was thrilled to find this one that specifically addressed my problem.

it just simply works - Effective and Easy to Use
### Amazon Review for Ortho Nutsedge Killer for Lawns Ready-To-Spray, 32 fl. oz.I recently purchased the Ortho Nutsedge Killer for Lawns, and I couldn't be happier with the results! This product is a game-changer for anyone struggling with stubborn nutsedge in their yard.First off, the ready-to-spray feature makes application incredibly convenient. I simply attached the bottle to my hose, and it was ready to go. No mixing or complicated setup required! After just a few days, I started to see a noticeable difference in my lawn. The nutsedge began to wilt and turn brown, and within a week, it was completely gone! I was impressed by how quickly and effectively it worked, especially considering how invasive nutsedge can be.Additionally, I appreciate that it's safe for use on my lawn without harming other grass types. Just follow the instructions, and you’re good to go!Overall, I highly recommend Ortho Nutsedge Killer for anyone dealing with this pesky weed. It's effective, easy to use, and has made a significant difference in the health of my lawn. Definitely worth the investment!

It Really Works, But the Bottle Needs a Redesign
I've had nutsedge come up periodically in and around my lawn for the past three years or so. This product really does work (kills the nutsedge without harming the grass around it), but I've bought about 4 bottles in the past few years and this last one I bought from Amazon was defective and spewed the product out where the hose was joined (and all over me). Not good. The bottle/applicator has always been a bit of a pain to screw onto the hose (meaning it works, but it can be a bit of a struggle or more of a struggle than it should be), but today's brand new bottle was just plain defective in some way. Even with the hose tight it was spewing water (and chemicals) out at the join and all around me/on me.I'll buy it again, because it really does work, but Ortho should go back to the drawing board on the bottle/applicator.

Great for nutsedge
Worked great on the nutsedge in my yard. It turned yellow after a couple of days, then turned brown and died within about 7 - 10 days. Did not harm my common bermuda.

Mixed Results...
I purchased this weed killer because I read it might work for "quack grass." Since it was hose-end and sprayed out it was easier to direct it and concentrate it in areas I wanted as opposed to granules shooting out of a spreader. Results were not immediate--it took awhile and then it was about a 50/50 result, some weeds withered and others probably needed a 2nd application but the spray was all used up. Also, it killed some new grass that was coming up in some sparse areas. As for the "quack grass" no change--that stuff can be really difficult to get rid of once it invades and before it spreads. Digging up to get all the roots (which can be a royal pain in the GRass) or smothering the stuff with black plastic (which can also kill healthy grass amidst the quack grass) or Glyphosate which has its own set of safety and health issues. Maybe, this stuff works better if you don't have a big varied weed infestation. I have used some other brands were the results were somewhat better.

The only thing that worked!
We have a pea gravel patio in the back yard with a fire pit and picnic table. Despite having used landscape fabric under the gravel, for the past few years weed grass would grow in the gravel. No matter how often we would pull it or try to use a scuffle hoe, it would grow back. Tried horticultural vinegar and salt/soap mixture twice, the grass laughed it off and came back. Tried torching it with propane, came back again. Finally identified the grass as nutsedge using iPhone camera, and realized it was rhizome/root-based. This product is the first I had tried after realizing what the grass was. It took a few days for the grass to really start browning. But after 2 weeks, the nutsedge has remained DEAD. I have one more canister ready to use if it ever tries to come back. This is in central Texas. I’ve got a bit in my lawn but haven’t tried spraying into the st Augustine. Mainly wanted to clear the gravel patio.I like that it is easy to use with a garden hose. The spray is kinda random but usable. I used gloves and safety goggles.

Not user friendly
Hose attached spray bottle sloppy and messy to use , spray on off switch hard to work , got surprise explosion of spray everywhere including my fave , and bidy , had to shower immediately before proceeding again . . . get poison spray everywhere , it works well on the nutsedge but will kill or damage other plants as well . Chemical Worked well in my Bermuda grass eradicating the Nutsedge . Will try different user friendly approach next time .
