RedberColombia Excelso Huila, Coffee Roasted to Order (Dark, Beans) (1kg)

Amazon tells me I've ordered this item "five times before", so I really must like it. It's not the only good coffee I've bought here, but it's the one I keep going back to. The tasting notes are accurate, and it holds its flavour well. I know I should drink it within 30 days, but I like to sleep occasionally. Kept in its original packaging inside an airtight tin, and decanted in small quantities to the "ready to grind" cannister, it lasts several months in a very drinkable and enjoyable condition.

Redber is quite close to me in Surrey, I've bought direct from them for about 7 years.Always super fresh, great varieties, but this and extra dark roast are my go to Espresso coffee. Rich, bold, mouth lingering without the harshness of supermarket coffee. I only take my coffee black, there's no hiding room of adding milk or sugar to makeup for poor coffee in my cup.The 1st world problem I have is that my home coffee is much nicer than anything you get elsewhere, which always leaves you a bit underwhelmed when out and about.

So arrived this morning. Roast date was two days ago which means it was sent right after it was baked. beans are at there best from 4-21 days so this was key for me to get the best out of them. Tried many coffers on here some a lot more expensive some with good reviews and most have been OK and at best good. I will not say this is better or worse as coffee is 100% personal taste. For me this has been the best.so far when I take taste quility and speed of service into account. I drink black strong americano coffee and for me this a good coffee if not the vest.for my tastes. It leave no bitter aftertaste and is mellow ennogh to enjoy but full of the flaovers you expect from a dark rost. This will be my new coffee from jkw on.

Great coffee. I seem to really enjoy the central american coffees the most.Have bought a few coffee's from Redber and can't fault it. The only coffee I got from them that I didn't enjoy was the Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, which I find weak. Not the supplier since I've had Ethiopian coffees from several suppliers and always found them weak. Still this might be to someone else's preference.Great enjoyment, thank you. Will certainly continue try more.

Superb coffee. I strayed to another supplier to get what I thought was a premium coffee brand but never again. You won't regret buying this, strong, flavoursome with a lovely chocolate undertone. One cup is never enough 😊

Do not know what coffee I have been sent but it does not match the reviews below! main issue is there is no roasting date only use by date, beans seem to be old to me. I do not like the bitter after taste, even if a dark roast I find it unpleasant on the palate compared to other dark roasts.

I rated this a 5-6 in my personal ratings. Did not really appeal. Smelled good and the beans were lovely and fresh. Simply I did not like the taste very much.

Fantastic coffee beans that are by far the best I have used in my bean to cup machine.For me they are my favourite which are now the only ones I will be ordering.A great coffee which I drink at anytime of the day.As for taste they have the perfect balance of strength and flavour and as they are only roasted when you order the are so fresh which gives the most amazing crème I have seen of all of the different beans I have used over the years.For me, simply awesome.
