How do I bennifit from fish oil

IMHO it mostly helps decrease inflammation. When I take mine, my knees and body aches less. When I stop taking it, I hurt again. No doubt it has helped me! The great thing about the yummy flavored oils is that they don't leave a fishy after taste like fish oil pills can do. I find the Barleans easier to digest but it IS a more expensive option than the capsules.

Does this also have omega-6 and omega-9 in it?

It just says Omega 3, our doctor recommended it for our Great Granddaughter. Said it helps the brain develop and this particular brand absorbs better than others. Sorry doesn't have omega 6 or omega 9.

As for Barlean's fish oil, it is the ONLY fish oil I have found (liquid or capsules) that doesn't result in my burping fish taste later. Also, it's purified/organic and the flavors I have tried are delicious! It tends to be a little sweeter than I like, but that's a minor complaint. I am currently taking the lime. It's slight tartness somewhat counteracts its sweetness. I highly recommend it though it's a a bit pricey. A 16 oz. bottle lasts quite a while though at a tablespoon a day which is what I take.

Is freshness still guaranteed if the product is exposed to high temperatures while in transit in the mail? (since retailers sell it refrigerated)

Retailers may sell it refrigerated but is it not warehoused and delivered refrigerated, it's a marketing tactic. This info comes from both having worked in health food stores myself and from speaking to delivery drivers, which is a much more sensible tactic than speaking to clerks because in my experience clerks are trained to tell the customer what s/he wants to hear! I spoke to Barleans about this and they said that it would take months of storage at a HIGH temperature (as in well over 120F) for this to go bad or lose potency or weoird. I have never had it taste fishy or weird even when sent UPS ground cross-country in 90+ degree weather. It's only after opening that you have to consider temperature and even then it's not necessarily to panic - I've even forgotten an open bottle on the counter overnight (called Barleans, they said it was ok to consume, tasted fine). I have also opened bottles that got "lost" in the back of the fridge and were months past the "best by" date - perfectly fine. Don't believe me? Dessert in a Bottle – Without the Fishy Burps

I can’t believe I’m saying this about fish oil, but this stuff is delicious. I’ve tried so many omega-3 supplements over the years and most of them either taste like fish, smell like fish, or leave you burping up fish. Not this one. The Key Lime Pie flavor is legit. It tastes like dessert, not a chore.It’s super smooth, no weird aftertaste, and it’s easy to take straight from the spoon or mix into a smoothie. I’ve been using it daily and I swear my joints feel better, my brain fog is less, and I’m just feeling more energized overall.Bonus: no fishy burps. NONE. Great Taste

This is the best tasting fish oil I have ever tasted. Easy to swallow. Great Quality and it is not too oily tasting. It is a little pricey but if fish oil is part of your health regime. This one is the way to go because of the great taste.

Best FishOil out there

Look no further! This is the BEST tasting fish oil. No fishy flavor or burps. Taste just like keylime. I will be purchasing again :) Tried it in a smoothie at first but it actually taste better straight up.

Slight after taste

I got the mango-peach flavor which is delicious but I do taste a slight fish taste as well. It is short lived. I IMMEDIATELY drink my coffee afterwards which took taking it and it goes away. No fish burps so that’s a huge plus. Value is good and I will keep using it
