Great Product, Great Value, fast (free) delivery
Does the job a treat and fits my Rode TX-M2 wireless mic like a glove. Note: the internal diameter is approx 35mm and not 45mm as advertised - but they do stretch a little if you're careful so will just about fit a Shure SM 58. I've tried a few windshields from different suppliers on Amazon and have found these to be the best on both quality and value for money and they are a great value way of protecting the mic capsule from damage caused by saliva whilst having minimal effect on sound - in fact I can't hear any noticeable difference, and all for 60p each. Highly recommended....

Effective, versatile, practical, but not studio grade.
The requirements of this application were the need for a quick and ready spare that could be brought into action at any moment. I leave them around in places; I might occasionally need to use them. There is effective cancellation of pop's and heavy consonants. The foam used is relatively thin, bordering on lightweight, being of a not terribly dense consistency. In a live or stage situation, these will be very adequate. If you are using to record but not using condenser mics, I'll suggest there will be little problems and there will be good results when you just need to silence some of the close up disruption from a non-silent area.If you are thinking about studio applications, I'll suggest that while they have potential, others simply do it better. This product is extremely good value for money and certainly is worth the pennies paid, just don't expect it to a panacea for all your reference requirements.

A good cheap cure for recording your windy moments
Let's face it, when you have wind it can ruin your day, when you have to get quite action.I have tried all sorts of wind cures, but never leave it and carry on, in the hope it will go away or you can cure it in post-production!Some wind cures, can be discreet, like finding a quiet corner to move the action to and others are really in your face.I find the in your face, cure for wind is the best.I like to put foam rubber on the end of my bulbous bit and hold the sharft or dangle it from above.I quite often get people saying that the prefer my bulbous foam end to other people's hairy ends as the hairs can be annoying, irritating or tickeling, if in your face or even get in the mouth.45mm diameter is great for most bulbous bits and they stretch to, so they can accommodate bigger if needed. Infact, I have just stretched one over two small ends on my Tascam DR05 and I can still see my levels, record and peak light.

Blue Microphones Yeti USB
I wasnt sure from any current review if these would work for my brand spanking new Blue Microphones Yeti USB, so I decided to risk it and give them a try.I'm glad I did, showed up in a clear pack a little squashed down but in otherwise perfect condition. They looked pretty big and feel very thick inside.I was able to very slowly, squeeze one onto my Yeti. I could hear a bit of pulling, however it never ripped once and I think it was simply the thickest part on the inside just slightly tearing enough to make enough space for the microphone. I had to keep slowly stretching it down around the mic but by the end of it, it had fit perfectly around the entire microphone portion and now looks great.I wished I had purchased these first rather than £12.00 on a pop shield. These are so much more easy to maintain and I dont have to have a popshield sticking out the side of my desk always having to move it around when I want to move my microphone back to one side. With 5 in a pack, I am very happy. I dont think im going to need to change the one im using, well not at least for a very long time but just incase I have four more spare which I think ill keep in the Blue Microphones Yeti USB box for safe keeping.Hope this review helps and if your using a blue yeti then I would recommend this 100%.Good luck on your decision, although you dont really need luck for this purchase.

NOT as advertised
For what it is? It does the job perfectly :) HOWEVER! These are advertised as 45mm windshields; they are 35mm which honestly was disappointing considering 45mm is advertised, this should be changed immediately. For those wondering what mics they fit, they will NOT fit a BLUE Yeti, Audio Technica (any AT 20 series mic) , BLUE snowball or any condenser mics with a grill larger than 35mm wide. I had to do some innovation to enable it to fit my SE 2200 A MK II mic.The windshield does the job great though :) Just not as advertised.

Buy them already.Used at home, in the studio (in conjunction with a pop screen) and in live situations and they work fantastically well. A little misshapen out of the bag but they soon straighten themselves out when they're on a mic. I've used with various mics and have had no problems with fitting at all.The foam is much thicker than I was expecting for the price, can rinse them out without worrying about tearing and a pack of 5 means you've always got one in you're bag if needed.

Amazing!!
Extremely nice, the fit my blue yeti well, there's a small bit not covered but it still works, I'd say it's amazing that you get 5 and for the quality, it's extremely worth it,There was only one problem and me telling it may help other people in the future to not make the same mistake, becareful when putting it on, I ripped my first one cause I was In a rush, just take it slow, it does fit, it just takes time, it does make a stretching sound when putting it on, but remember, it works and it's amazing for the price, I probably won't need the spare 3 though XDThanks!

Very good.
They just came.I now have 5 of them and are very cheap.Does they work?I try it out.I kept my zoom h1 20-30cm away from me and I cough(I am sick right now so this is easy).Without the foam I hit red all the time. With the foam the peak was to 70%-80%.Well done.I haven't try it outside to the wind yet but I had ordered a dead kitten for outside. For indoor use and outside without wind and to just protect the microphones I believe in this prise is perfect.
