Read Write Inc.: My Reading and Writing Kit: Becoming a reader

This is great value for money, it has kept my 5 year old busy during the summer holidays where he’s been able to practice his writing and gave a good range of green and purple phonic books to read to keep practicing his reading skills.

The media could not be loaded. We wanted to support our child using the same materials as she does as school. Oxford Owl phonics are great and the instructions.in this lovely pack are very clear. It was nice to support our child at home rather than confuse by teaching something completely different.

Bought this for my 5 year old to help with his phonics etc. He's come on leaps and bounds since having it, and gets really excited to practice using the cards. Really happy with this product and great value for money. Would recommend.

Excellent value for money. Really worth while to help with reading. Shame set 3 digraphs/trigraphs aren’t included though.

since we have been home schooling our daughter it has been useful to be able to read the same books ane folow what wha t the teachers are teaching at school. its a nice kit in a box nicely presented and good print, no production issues i can see

I purchased these for over the summer to do with my daughter. Absolutely love them! My daughter recognises the books and methods. We are familiar with Read Write Inc structure, but even for someone who isn't familiar, they are super easy to follow along, prompts all the way through, even a parent handbook. Even places where children can mark off their progress.

Phonics is not the way I learned but this is a pleasing purchase. The sound cards are fun (although the writing is small) but great for a 5yr old. She is working on her own, picking up the cards and ready to start the books. I like how it progresses to more difficicult word groups and allows interactive child recording of progress. Very, very supportive.
