Unit supplied was faulty - but a FOC replacement arrived the next day
The 3.5mm cable mounted socket would not retain the jack plug when inserted; it would only make an electrical connection when the two were pushed tightly together, and when released, the connection failed.I notified Amazon the same day, and a FOC replacement arrived within 24 hours, and I did not have to return the faulty unit. The replacement requires a firm push of the jack plug before it clicks into place and is held there firmly. The quality appears to be good,. as does the value for moneyExcellent service - but cannot say the same for the manufacturer's QC procedure.
