Excellent rice for the price (I’m a poet & didn't know it). Not very starchy at all so requires less washing and cooks decent without coming out stodgy & clumpy. Will definitely be buying again when it runs out. Pro tip - use one or two teaspoons of veg oil in with the rice when it cooks and your rice won’t stick to the rice cooker bowl & is less likely to clump together.

I tend to buy golden sella basmati rice but thought I would give this a try as was in a pinch. The price is good and it actually cooks well, providing I follow my usual method instead of packet instructions. I like to wash the rice in a bowl before cooking to get rid of the excess starch so I don't end up with sticky rice. I boil it with just enough water that the rice absorbs it all, so it's nice and fluffy ready to serve. I've cooked this on the stove and Instant Pot, but prefer stove cooking this one to keep a better eye on it (just in case I've added a bit too much water and need to spoon some out). Depending on what I'm serving with the rice, I like to add a pinch of seasoning or herbs to the boiling water. Sometimes I add a vegetable stock cube (instead of salt) which boosts the rice flavour immensely.
