The media could not be loaded. This is a great microwave. Plenty big enough for a family and very reliable.I've now owned this for 12 years and it's still going strong. It's easy to clean, and still looks brand new.It's very heavy and has quite a large footprint, but it's not something you'll be moving much, so it's fine. I paid just under £200 for it in 2013, and it's definitely been good value for money, especially as it was our sole cooking appliance for over 2 years.Nowadays, I mainly use the microwave and defrost features, which are good, but the oven feature works well and it's large enough inside to cook a family sized joint of meat in. It will also cook it in a much quicker time than a normal oven.The jacket potato program is great, and will cook them in around 23 minutes.Overall, I'd definitely recommend this product. It may not be the cheapest, but so far it has lasted 12 years with daily use, so the build quality and reliability are top notch, which to me is worth the extra cost in the long run as it is likely to work out cheaper than buying cheap and having to replace it every few years.

This was a replacement for the same model I have had since Feb 2014 (over nine years of almost daily use). It's versatile and offers different cooking modes, and the controls/display are easy to understand and use. This is the only oven I have and is fitted into the kitchen units - see photo.It was also on a 23% discount and interest-free credit over five months. It was a great bargain as well.Ordered yesterday and delivered at about 10:00 a.m. today. The driver kindly carried the large, heavy package into my kitchen. I unpacked it and tested it. All functions are working; now I need to remove the old microwave from the cabinet and put the new one in.

Great , I bought this to replace my old sharp carousel , the jet convection is great , well worth the money , it’s well built and feels really solid , easy to clean easy to use as a microwave or oven for family or single person

its a good microwave oven and grill we have had this microwave before but its very noisy at the minute

My last one of these lasted 30 years and was absolutely amazing .Hard to believe it hasn’t been updated in that time but I’m so glad it hasn’tSeller was very good too

Our previous microwave which lasted a good 10+ years and was really good died on us so we were looking for something just as good. This microwave is just as good if not better, easy to use pre-set cook/defrost functions on the front make cooking in this a breeze. Warning- will render your oven useless hahaThe defrost function is really a life saver, taking meat straight out of the freezer and being able to cook it after 10 minutes saves a lot of hassle.One negative point is that it is quite noisy at at times, but then again I don't think you can buy a silent microwave. Its not that much of a problem but just wanted to highlight that, also it has quite a large back, if your trying to fit it into a cabinet or restricted space. We tried to fit it into our cabinet but for one, the door handle protrudes outwards so closing the cabinet door was a problem, we had to cut out the back of the cupboard to make it fit. So warning again, it is much larger than you would think, factoring the door handle especially so the measurements they provide are a bit short.The microwave itself comes with 2 microwavable baking trays, a round microwavable plate and a two tier metal microwavable stand. For what your getting i would say this is pretty good value for money. It really fits in well with most kitchen decor theme.

I had the Sharp R5959SLMA combi microwave oven for 6 years and then it died so I bought this as a replacement from Amazon. I agree with other reviewers that it is a different machine in many aspects to the Sharp model this replaced. This model has an extra A as part of the model number as my old one was A, not AA.I considered many other brands of combi microwave, visiting countless stores to actually see them. I did not care about budget, as long as I could get the capacity and the functions I needed as I mostly use it in oven mode, but still needed combi functions for when I am juggling three different meals at once, for my tribe.I found that most other machines relied way too much on microwave power to cook, which I did not want. Most others despite being more expensive, were way too small in capacity and for the price, did not impress me at all.I decided it had to be this one as overall, it ticks all the boxes. I considered buying it via other retailers but I have found Amazon's customer service when returning products to be excellent and the delivery on Prime was next day, unlike other retailers where I would have had to wait days on end for delivery. I also bought the Amazon 3 year guarantee.It sounds different in operation and I agree with others that there is a weird buzzing sound when using microwave.I also do not like the new trays and wish i had kept the stainless steel rungs from my expired model and tend to use the high rack and the turntable instead as they are awkward to handle when hot. The turntable is not the same as the previous model, not as heavy but that is ok for me with fibromyalgia.On the positive side; this one is 60ltrs and during the uk heatwave, has been a lifesaver to use, rather than my dual oven. It cooks just as efficiently as my previous Sharp. I use the oven feature a lot and often use the automatic preset modes for ready meals or chips or jacket potatoes. I sometimes use the microwave for fish and defrosting food and reheating.Even with its minor faults in hardware quality, this Sharp R959SLMAA is still the best option for me to cope with the menu for my "mini hotel" of 5 adults and one child under 5, plus guests at any given time, not forgetting 8 pampered cats who I cook meat and fish for daily too. I use a halogen oven, a multi-cooker, Instant Pot and a steamer, plus an electric hob and my regular oven and grill so that I am not overworking the Sharp and other appliances.I have waited a few months of use before writing this review to give it a fair chance as I really love the capacity and functions of this machine and hope that whoever manufactures this gem never discontinues it as the functions, performance and ease of operation and capacity are still outstanding, even compared to other brands latest models with ever new technology, I still prefer how this machine operates as it is so comprehensive and not just for those who mainly only have time to rely on ready meals, not cooking from scratch, as I do. It does both !Since writing this review above the door has dropped and let out steam and it took 2 months and a replacement which blew out all our electrics and failed to operate ! Amazon have since refunded me but the whole issue was lengthy process to get a refund. This is not like the old Sharp it is poorly built and inferior !

Absolutely magnificent. Had 3 of these in our lifetime. We tend to only use the cooker where the base rotation is brilliant. The grill we use too with the rotation. If people stay sometimes there is the need for microwave. Especially great for cooking frozen croissants or pretzels. Fabulous.
