I love these lights...bought 3 and use them everytime I shoot a video. They are wide ranging, small, and easily packable for traveling. They are a must if you shoot videos especially if you travel and shot YT videos on the road. Pros: Price, charge duration, brightness, color range for different effect, small and packable, magnetic or mutiple mounting opportunities. Cons: distance or throw...its a small area light. Must have for video accent lighting at a great price. I need to get 3 more for my home studio and travel kit. Small and versatile. Awesome lights.

As a travel photographer, it's hand to have small lights to bring along with me. These give off a great amount of light, I love the ability to change the colors for some creative shots and the batteries last long enough for my shoots. The also are handy to have as lights for zoom meetings while on the go. I like the magnetic ends as I can put one on a small tripod mount and have a second one just magnetically sitting on top of it and change the angle of both lights to have a wider range of coverage. I don't really use the simulation modes but if those are handy to you, they are nice to have built in. They are also very easy to charge with the USB-C connection.

I love this light. Great battery life, perfect size for portability, the light settings are vibrant and it was a great price as I purchased it near Christmas time. The options for using the threading on both ends for mounting, attaching to another light are perfect; but I love that this is magnetic and makes my options even more versatile.

I love these lights. They're pretty small so I can throw them in my camera bag without any worry about spare space at all. I've found them to be particularly useful when I want some more creative interior car photos. I must say, as someone who is into cars as well as photography, these have held up really nicely as work lights whenever I run out of light while working on my car. They're magnetic so they stick to my fenders and are generally just really useful for picking up bolts/nuts that I've accidentally dropped too. I've also dropped these a few times and they might be a little rough around the edges now, but they still work perfectly fine. The only thing I wish was better was the battery life - it's not bad, I just wish it had a little more power in it. They have enough power to make it through an average photoshoot but that's about it. As long as you remember to charge these before going out and you're golden. overall, magnets are awesome - attaching a light to one is a phenomenal idea.

These little lights are very useful. They aren't quite as small as I expected, but small enough to be strategically placed. Easy to use with tremendous battery life. I have used them as a talking head light source as well as background lighting in the same situation. Switching colors is easy as well. Very good product.

Fantastic for making product videos. These are kind of small however, and work best for things like figurines or small models/products. If you're doing larger items or people, I would suggest the taller models they make of these. But the controls are very easy to use and will spice up a product video in a jiffy. The quality is also very nice with easily accessible buttons that do not have slop in play. Controls are simple and straight-forward with a mode, power, and selector buttons. Has a couple built-in mode effects and you can manually control the RGB color, saturation, and intensity The base is magnetic and has a mounting screw hole.

I bought this mini RGB light wand mainly because it’s compact and affordable, and it’s been perfect for what I need. I wanted a versatile light to make my videos look more polished and cinematic without spending a ton. The brightness and color temperature range make it easy to go from warm, cozy lighting to a cleaner daylight look, and the colors are vibrant when I want something more creative. The app control is convenient for quick adjustments when I’m filming, especially when the camera is already set up and I don’t want to keep walking back and forth. I also like the built-in scenes, they’re a fun shortcut for mood lighting and background effects. Battery life has been solid for my typical filming sessions, and the small size makes it easy to toss in a bag. For the price, this is a great way to upgrade your lighting and instantly level up my content.

I bought 4 of them to replace the one I got from Ulanzi, because they have no App Control and both the warm white and cool white LEDs are awfully Magenta. Even the G/M correction function on the Neewer TL97C isn’t strong enough to add enough magenta to match them!!! So i’ll be using the Ulanzis only for RGB. Neewer TL97C Pros : - Neewer TL97C are incredibly neutral all the way from 2500K to 7500K, with excellent color rendition. - G/M correction function (a must have in a RGBWW light). - Excellent App control - 17 excellent and editable FX - No flickering - Not much more expensive than the cheaper alternatives that doesn’t have app control and G/M correction. Cons : - The magnets on both size aren’t strong enough to securely attach multiple lights together (unless they’re also attach to a metal surface from the back, like on my picture), and the recommended optionnal 1/4-20 screws won’t work since they will randomly align the lights.. completely useless, so save your money and skip the screws.. I strongly recommend the 8$ Neewer softbox/grid that will take 2 tubes (attached with magnets is secure enough in that case). The diffusion sheet is pretty much useless and only cuts the light output for no reason.. but the grid is amazing is incredibly useful!

I'm really impressed with this product! After owning it for 1 day and testing it out I bought another. I was surprised how bright it is and the quality of light from it. Works really well with a smoke machine, gives a lovely effect.

Small, easy to hang or place out of sight to give a bit of extra light or colour to a background object or shadow. The buttons are complicated. But the app controls them well and is easy to use. Battery is average but is ok for my usage.

I’ve been using this RGB tube light primarily as a fill or rim light in tighter setups, especially when shooting in restaurants and cafes. I haven’t been a big fan of Neewer products in the past, but this RGB tube light is a pleasant surprise — it definitely bucks the trend.
