Superb value for the money - well built and well protected. I needed to get two base courses of blocks mortared in exactly level, to the millimetre, so that the thin joint blockwork would meet up correctly two metre up from there. The problem was the two courses were over four meters apart in bright sunlight! This product did the job, but to be really sure I bought a red laser target card, and the combination of the two purchases meant that not only could I be really confident on this job, but I will be able to work at greater distances in sunlight if I need to. Indoors it is super bright. I wasn't aware, but some 360 degree lasers emit an oval beam, not a circular beam, so if the performance disappoints try turning the unit 90 degrees. The manufacturer's excellent technical support dept gave me that tip.

I bought this just to help me level a floor. The area was so large it made spirit levels impractical, so I took a deep breath and ordered one of these. Although the price was very competitive in the market, it was higher than my normal DIY budget would allow.It has earned its keep many times over. Leveling the floor - no problem.I have continued using it for wall and floor tiling, aligning fixings, room paneling, plastering, hanging doors, hanging pictures, setting window cills, staircase layout. kitchen layout and checking the quality of work achieved by contractors.Just being able to check contractors work has the potential for avoiding significant on going problems in a project.I know it will continue to be used on many future projects. I am able to use it easily and with complete confidence.It was easily worth the cost.After-sales support from Tacklife has been very helpful and quick to respond.

An impressive little device that does the job very well.It capable of self level both horizontal and vertical make it very useful in any DIY projects.The laser is sharp on the wall, and very bright, very easy to use.I like that fact that it can be tripod mounted as well, which you could adjust the height to use it to mount shelfs high up.

Really poor magnet fell off and killed it going to get dewalt

Great product. 360 degrees in both planes. I have used it to construct stud walls and to line up shelves. The magnetic mount is handy, but it is worth buying a camera tripod. (Don't but the Bosch tripod however unless you enjoy spending more money that necessary).

Good kit doesn't come cheap, purchased to replace my ancient laser, works great aand the price is more thn reasonable

This may be slightly more expensive than some others on Amazon, but it is a great tool - accurate - bright and has saved me already enough time to pay for itself!

Very good laser but only indoors. It is supposed to for outdoor use up to 30 metres but even on dull days one metre is as far as the line can be seen.
