Niteangel Stacker Series Hamster Cage - Stackable & Large Glass Enclosure for Hamster Gerbils Mice Lemming Degus or Other Small-Sized Pets

This is a great product. Overall it was pretty easy to assemble and is sturdy and as escape proof as an enclosure gets. My hamster Zuko (hybrid dwarf) loves it and is more active now because of the extra space and enrichment. Just make sure that you get two and put them together as one is too small and wont be able to fit enough enrichment. The wheels to put two together are sold separately which I wish I knew before I bought it and put the whole thing together but honestly its so heavy that it pushes together safely. The only negative thing about it is that one of the plastic screws to open up the front window of one of the enclosures is super jammed and hard to turn. I have tried re-assembling it and it makes no difference so I think its an alignment issue as the other window is fine and easy to open. But this doesn't really bother me since I open up the top to clean anyway but it could be a problem for you if you have multiple hamsters and are stacking them. Overall, its a great product and provides a lot of space for enrichment for your hamster and although its expensive, if you're not crafty like me, it is a great way to easily assemble a large cage for your hamster and is worth the money.

My hammy iris has been living in a 20 gal aquarium for a little over 2 years. When this arrived at my doorstep - I put it together right away!!!! My cats and fish have gotten upgrades to their living spaces and it was time for me to invest in her. It’s so hard to find a decent hamster cage that isn’t ridiculously small or made out of wood. I have used niteangel accessories before and they have always been high quality. This cage surpassed all expectations. It’s huge. Seems like it will be relatively easy to clean. (Easier than wood). I have already bought additional things for her home that will allow her to explore more and be mentally stimulated. She deserved the enrichment. I did not buy the cage with the front door because the cabinet she is on is short enough for me to reach. This is worth the price in my opinion. Her world doubled and I can already see a change in her demeanor. :) ***UPDATE*** This cage is amazing. It fits all sorts of fun activities!!!!! I can add like an entire village of tiny homes in here while still adding a running wheel and sand shower spot. She loves it. It’s super easy to clean and sturdy. I love that it can be stackable. I’m glad I didn’t spend the extra money getting the little front door. This is so fool proof. I’m so excited I found this. You won’t be disappointed.

First, I just have to say that I really like the cage and I know my hamster will too, once he gets to move in. I’ve spent several weeks waiting to set up this cage while waiting for all of the Niteangel accessories I also ordered to arrive. After a snow storm in the southeast and several delays I’ve received the vast majority have finally arrived. With much anticipation I sat my 66 year old self on the floor and unpacked the cage. Two hours later, as I was preparing to install the front door I realized that the three round locking mechanizes were not there. In utter disappointment, and another hour later I was able to crawl over to the coffee table and climb it to get my hips to unlock. I made my way to my little guys room and let him know he wouldn’t be moving tonight as planned. I hate making promises to him that I can’t keep so I’m giving him banana to soften the blow. Seriously, I’m not happy with this situation but have heard, Niteangel customer service is top notch. I hope this will be rectified quickly. UPDATE: Niteangel lived up to their great reputation and sent the missing parts. I will continue buying their quality accessories. Highly recommend!

One of the biggest issues in the small pet community is lack of education around healthy and happy enclosures for small pets especially hamsters. Enclosures that don’t provide your hamster with a healthy and happy enclosure leads to multiple health issues and behavioral problems. Niteangel as a brand is really incredible with manufacturing really impeccable products for hamster care. One of the biggest signs that this company really cares about providing hamsters with appropriate happy and healthy enclosures is that they don’t sell unsafe small sized hamster wheels. This enclosure is apart of their expandable and stackable series, which I highly recommend! One thing I would really love to see is these enclosures and all of their product line in every single local pet store in the US. Assembly of this enclosure was really easy to do and they provide one of the best included tool kits that I have ever seen. The material used really adds to the A+ sturdiness & high quality of this enclosure that others don’t provide. The enclosure is on the heavy side for weight due to the heavy duty materials used, but I personally love enclosures that are more heavy because it does lead to better quality in this case. Both of her hamsters love this enclosure! I do recommend though to do a minimum of two of these enclosures connected to together because one enclosure is on the smaller end of the recommended square inches and it is a little hard to setup with everything. Even if you only purchase one of these to start at least it will be significantly better than all of the other enclosures on the market, a single is a really good temporary set-up until finances provide enough to purchase a second one, and the huge bonus factor is when you purchase another enclosure to expand you’re not wasting any money. The hamster community often wastes a lot of finances because they keep upgrading/replacing their enclosures when they realize that their enclosure is not right for their hamster do to size, lack of quality, etc. This enclosure does allow you to expand either from the sides or the back. However, I do wish that there would be an included educational hamster pamphlet provided with the enclosure to provide education to hamster owners for setup. I have unfortunately seen some very concerning hamster set-ups even in this enclosure (example: less than 6 inches of packed hamster safe bedding, unsafe hamster wheels and below the minimum 10 inch, no hides, no enrichment, etc. Now I do want to note why I only gave this enclosure a four star and it is because there could be some improvements. If everyone is always just giving an enclosure a five star when there is room for improvement it doesn’t provide adequate information to the manufacturer to make improvements. 1. I would love niteangel to expand on their enclosure size to include a small version and a large. This current model would be really good to be a starting point for their small enclosure, but I would love to see the height of the enclosure increase by a minimum of 10 inches. This would allow for the front panel opening to move higher up to increase the amount of bedding, possibly a larger door, and would allow more space at the top of the enclosure to accommodate larger items. The enclosure set up that I have with the purple hide house has a maze on double stilts for a Syrian hamster to have more bedding, but this led to less space at the top of the enclosure where I can’t put a water bottle along with the water bowl. It would be a super bonus if we can have a minimum of 12-14 inches of space below the front door panel opening for bedding. Along with the height increase I would also recommend increasing the width measurement by a minimum of 6 inches, but 10 inch would be better. The reason being that it is a little tight when trying to configure all of the accessories inside the enclosure this is really noticed when you go with the larger accessories for a Syrian hamster. Since the height and width increase would be a standard increase across to all of the enclosures the only thing that would need to be increased to be considered a large enclosure would be the length. I personally would recommend that the large enclosure length start at 50x60 inches or larger. Due to the incredible feature of expanding this enclosure people will be able to expand their enclosure with either the large or small option easily to the left or right. The only drawback is you won’t be able to expand on the backside of the enclosure unless you get the same size, but this may not be an issue. It may not even be something done often with that 10 inch increase in the width that I recommend, but I would not take this feature away. 2. Create a starter accessory kit for Syrian and dwarf hamsters that could be included with the purchase of enclosure for a double discount. A discount just for it being a starter kit and the bonus of a discount if purchased with an enclosure. For the Syrian starter kit I would recommend including the 12 inch super silent wheel, wheel meter, large sand bath, a variety of ladders, water bowl, water bottle, food dish, 1 to 3 platforms, stilts + expanding stilts, large maze, and small maze/hide. For the dwarf hamster starter kit I would recommend all the same things, but with a 10 inch super silent wheel instead of the 12 inch. This would help with providing a really good foundation to the education piece of proper hamster cared that is happy and healthy. This also simplifies the process a lot more making it easier for people to give proper care for a hamster because it’s more simplified. 3. Bonus: For the people who may want to expand their enclosures, but only do a small expansion I would recommend creating a small expansion kit that only goes left or right by 10-12 inches. I also would not take the current enclosure off the market (just decrease the price) unless there is an option for a significant upgrade discount. 4. I would also recommend creating an enrichment starter kit (dwarf and Syrian version), which would just include all of your enrichment items like the sprays, snacks, walnuts, wood carrots, variety of different digging substrates, dig box, sand, tunnels, toys, chews, flower mix, etc. Which I recommend the same bundle discount and if purchased with an enclosure a secondary discount. 5. The last thing that I would recommend is a table/cabinet that is custom sized for these enclosures to fit on that is easily expandable as well. Having storage would be a really huge bonus to be able to store all of the hamster needs close by. I personally really love this brand of hamster products and I highly recommend them. They’re the only manufacture company that I have found that really provides the best items with a full scope of meeting almost all of your hamster needs. I would absolutely love to see them in every single local pet store, so that people can receive the first initial education about hamster care before they even purchase a hamster. It is pretty traumatic, especially for a child to witness a hamster whom has health and behavioral issues due to miseducation around the necessity of proper hamster care. Keep up the amazing work niteangel and keep expanding on your brand by continuing to bring in amazing accessories for the enclosures and enclosures in general.

a really nice size & can be filled with all kinds of enrichment. i am a first time hamster owner & originally started off with a two-story cage from petsmart marketed towards syrian hamsters that was WAY too small with a 6in wheel. my hamster was very stressed out and would bite the bars. square footage is definitely more important than the amount of stories you may have & im happy i discovered that early on. i know this is an investment (and quite large), but i really think it’s important to remember that a hamster life is just as important as your family dog or cat. and your hamsters space is just as important as your space. this size enclosure can be filled with all kinds of enrichment (and can also fit a size large wheel which is 12in). with the added door to the front instead of like most aquarium style enclosures it is very easy to clean & gets good ventilation.

Love the quality, I haven't assembled mine yet though because I bought 2 of these to connect side by side without knowing that it requires a splice kit to do so. I did reach out to niteangel, as I could not find a splice kit on their website. I was informed that they wouldnt be available in the U.S until sometime in October. I was pretty disappointed when I found that out, they did not mention needing a splice kit in the listing. I will say niteangel customer support was great in responding to my email quickly with info including pictures of what I would need once it does reach the shelves . I have decided that this cage is worth the wait as it is great quality and looks easy to assemble . They even sent a screw driver with the package to aid in assembly. If you are getting this cage for a syrian just be aware that one of these alone will not be big enough. Yes there are cheaper options out there, but this is much lighter than an aquarium and will be easier to clean than wood options.

I thought it was plexiglass but it seems to be peer glass which makes it look even better the assembly was very easy and the lock ability on it is amazing the package wasnt too heavy just was chunky so needed 2 people to carry and amazing quality it fits together really nicely and very pretty

I bought this after watching Victoria Rachel’s video review and I’m so extremely disappointed. I don’t know how people were able to put this together so easily. When it was time to slide the glass panels in they kept getting stuck. They would just not fit right and we were so scared about breaking the glass. We had to unscrew one of the corner pieces and spent a half hour to get the back panel and side panel in the slot and reattach the corner piece. On top of that we ordered two of the front opening cages and BOTH are missing the locking mechanism for the acrylic front opening door. There is also all these extra clear screws that seemingly have no use for?? We used the metal screws for the cage but cannot figure out what they could possibly be used for. I have sent them an email asking about the missing parts. I have yet to build the second cage because I’m debating on if I even want to keep it or not.
