Barfly Ice Tong, Stainless, 7.1 Inch

I bought an expensive ice mold, but the regular tongs I had in the kitchen just would not work to get the ice out of the mold when I was finished. So I bought these, because it looked like the teeth might grip into the ice ball. Sure enough, it does just that, and it's the perfect size. It's also easy to adjust the width of opening. Great purchase.

Looks great with my ice bucket on my bar cart. I've also used this with my antipasto tray. Can't beat the cost.

The media could not be loaded.  It allows me to take the ice cubes easily without slipping.

I was looking for a versatile ice tong to be able to fit various sizes, specifically the craft ice balls our refrigerator makes. These open wide enough for them as well as regular size I’ve cubes from trays. I leave it right in the freezer ice bin. Not too cold to handle ice!

I wish it was both a bit larger and the metal a bit sturdier. Works but I’m gonna buy something else.

The media could not be loaded.  These ice bucket tongs are a good value but they feel a bit thin in my hands. When they arrived, the teeth did not line up on the two sides because it was bent a bit. I was able to very easily bend it back to line up the teeth. They work well to pick up the ice. I previously bought a cheaper brand of tongs, but found that they didn't have adequate 'teeth' to grip a 2-inch cube securely, and I was having getting the large cubes into double old fashioned glasses. The Barfly tongs are perfect. Honestly, I should have gotten these from the start :)
