Loving my new iron. I have had 3 steam generator irons which have only lasted 6 months to 2 years! They have been a huge saver on time but didn't last very long. This product is new. However, Morphy Richards have a warranty of 3 years which is reassuring. It irons as good if not better than the steam generator irons I've used before. What I love about this, it has an autodescaler setting which is really simple and only takes 3 minutes. 😊👍🏼 What is also great, there is no dried residue stick to the plate which I have experienced right from early usage of the other steam generators. So overall, a lot less faff of cleaning the plate and manually descaling ❤️. Hallelujah 💪🏼😊

Nice and light wight. Easy to change between setting

So far I’m impressed, I like the digital settings which is easy to do, not sure how it will deal with limescale as I live in a hard water area but I haven’t had it long enough for any to build up, personally I would recommend using bottled water so it will last longer. The iron isn’t the heaviest so that’s a good point, also the flex is quite long so again a positive. I would recommend this

Great product. It solved the problems I have had with iron

Back to an amazing steam iron from my rubbish preset Phillips perfect care. This has an amazing steam output and that was just on the medium setting, easy to use and the iron is light to handle and has a dial to adjust for different fabrics. I like that it can also be used dry .This iron doesn’t disappoint well worth the money.

This is the worst piece of electrical equipment I have ever purchased!! After 7 months it had scaled up and was leaking water from the connections between the tank and the machine body.On contacting Morphy Richards I was eventually told that additional descaling might be necessary ,though this is not mentioned in any of their literature, I know because I have read the instruction booklet thoroughly. So much for Self cleaning and Auto Clean. I was extremely disappointed in their customer service and told them that this would appear to be a manufacturing flaw and very misleading documentation to say the least. It would appear they were quite happy for me to complain to Amazon to obtain a refund. Against my better judgement we descaled the iron and religiously made sure we only used De-ionised/Tap water 50/50. May I add at this point that we live in a very soft water area and have absolutely no scale in any equipment in our home. We have never needed to use salt in our dishwasher or use Calgon or similar products in our washing machine. Our taps and other bath/basin hardware is scale free. I believe that Morphy Richards are well aware of this fault and are quite prepared to "Wrong foot " any complaints.Sept 25 This Steam generator has stopped producing any steam whatsoever. Having contacted them again and been told that once again I must provide photos, videos, and confirming documents to prove date of purchase etc, I have decided to cut my losses and buy another make. I just know that they will not honour their obligations to genuine customers. I was sold a PUP and I am calling it a day. BUYER BEWARE!!

Excellent product with variable steam settings

Have had a couple of quality steam irons in the past and this one is every bit as good as the more expensive ones. I like the fact that it heats up quite quickly and switches itself off if you leave it unattended for too long. The iron itself clicks into the rest of the unit so you can store and carry it about as one item. I have very soft water where I live so can fill it from the tap am not worried about it getting furred up. It does have a self cleaning program which I accidentally initialised when first playing with it, so it looks like it does flush itself out if you live in a harder water area. It will give a double beeping sound if the water needs topping up and this can be done whilst it is still switched on by removing the water container and filling it. Overall I’m really pleased with it and like it better than the previous ones I’ve owned where you had to wait for it to cool before refilling it
