We have tried other button makers, but this one is the best we have used! Highly recommend since it is great quality for the price you are paying. There were no issues setting it up. Little to no mess ups on creating the buttons. It is easy and self explanatory to use which makes it super functional. Since it is made with metal, it is very durable. It came with all of the supplies you need to make buttons which makes it even more worth the cost!

Solid, reliable, works great!

This is a solid metal desktop device, easy to assemble and to use, despite poorly translated instructions. However, most of the buttons it makes end up with split edges and/or creased and wrinkled surfaces. I tried several tests first, to make sure I was operating the machine correctly, trial and error, right? I made buttons with the metal pin backs and buttons with the plastic pin backs. I tried various amounts of pressure at each stage. Lighter pressure seems to have the best results, but I still get several unusable buttons. In my experience with this machine, about 1/4 are completely unacceptable, 1/2 are maybe OK for personal use, giving to friends, classroom projects, political rallies or business promotions, and only 1/4 are good enough to sell, if you have an Etsy shop or online business. I was intending to use the button maker for this last reason, so a 1 in 4 success rate isn't great. But the machine does come with a ton of supplies, and I reckon I can get enough out of this to pay for the thing, so I'm not going to return it. I attempted to contact the company via email for some tips, since it says "Have product questions? Need technical support? Please feel free to contact us" in their instruction manual. I received a prompt reply that told me to refer to Amazon and refused to offer any other assistance. So... so much for that.

This is the second button time I've purchases this button maker. The first one I purchased a few years ago and I really love it. Very sturdy and well made. There is a real difference in quality with this new one. I knew right away just from the base. It's not as solid as my older one and over all just doesn't feel as sturdy. I'm really disappointed to see this drop in quality. I am debating whether or not I want to keep it.

Love this product it is easy to use and also put together. Love making my buttons very thanks for this product. I highly recommend it.

If mass producing buttons this could be anchored down to a work table for more stability. Heavy machine, works well if you get everything aligned properly. Had many trial and errors. Not super high quality materials that come with machine. Button machine appears to work properly. Perfect machine for a beginner.

I had a few problems at first, but realized after a few uses the top mount was loose. Once everything is tightened it's super easy to use. Expect a few to not align right, but over all I'd say 90% of the buttons come out sellable, 5% can be fixed with glue, and the last 5% are varying degrees of b grade noticeable glue job to I can't salvage this.

easy to assemble, and easy to follow instructions to make buttons. came with a ton of parts to make them with also. i didn't like the circle cutter, never worked right but was able to buy a cheap punch the right size

Keeps on jamming and does not fully close the pins. We have to glue most of the pins and discovered that we also used wrong glue so all pins my daughter had made (360 pins) was destroyed. Mildly annoying. Not too happy about this product but when it does work it works well. Just seldom that happens

Really great bit of kit! Bought for the kids at the home ed group/my own and I can see its going to be popular. Works really nicely, we have only made a few badges so far but they look good! It's heavyweight, not flimsy. Only drawback was putting it together with the bad english instructions, but got there in the end!
