Incredible Deal!
I can't think of a better bargain battle-belt on the market.Pros:• The duty belt is built-in. It is a 2” strap that has a stout buckle on the end. The excess belt strap can be rolled up and has a Velcro strap-keeper that keeps it from flopping around.• The Y-suspenders are incredibly basic. They’re really just 1-inch and 2-inch webbing, folded and stitched into suspenders. This is not necessarily a bad thing at all – they go well underneath body armor.• The belt has 5 suspender attachment points: one on each side of the front and three in the back. This means that you could take the provided suspenders off and put either H or X-type suspenders onto the belt.• It has 20 columns by three rows of PALS webbing. This is roughly analogous to the HSGI 35” SureGrip belt. In fact, the USMC Sub Belt has 1 more column of PALS webbing than my HSGI.• There is an interior space that goes the full length of the belt. If you wanted, you could put a stiff rigger’s belt through the interior, though you would probably have to cut off the built-in duty belt.Cons• There are no access ports for sub-loads. However, since the interior belt is stitched in, you would need to buy a duty or rigger’s belt and install it for this to even be a viable option. In that case, you could cut a small port using a sharp blade and perhaps a lighter to sear the edges.• The belt is not very stiff. Unlike the HSGI SureGrip, it does not have a plastic stiffener. Again, you could make one yourself to stiffen the belt.• Along with being less stiff, the Sub Belt feels a little less sturdy than the HSGI. I load a lot of gear on my belt (6 primary magazines, pistol, canteen, med kit, dump pouch and Utility pouch. I’m not sure how well the Sub Belt will handle this weight without an internal stiffener.• The interior is breathable mesh. While this is not a bad thing at all, I really love the neoprene interior pad of my HSGISureGrip.All-in-all, this is an incredible deal. Consider that an HSGI SureGrip with duty belt and ATS low-profile suspenders cost roughly $105, over FIVE TIMES what the USMC Sub Belt does. Now, I’m not saying that you should abandon your HSGI. I’ve got one and I love it. I’m not switching. However, if you’re looking for a great starter belt, you can’t go wrong with the Sub Belt.

This item is a great low-buck battle belt
This item is a great low-buck battle belt. The quality is excellent and fit is very good. For somebody trying to decide how to carry gear and how to lay out that gear on their person, this item provides the opportunity to do that in a hands-on fashion without breaking the bank.

Surprise! A comfortable belt for important things
Compared this to GI Garand belts - way more comfortable. Carries 160rds 7.62 in mags, 14rds .45ACP in mags, pistol and canteen, with ease. And the light suspenders keep it all squared away. Fast delivery, great price. Best purchase all year!

Great for intended purpose and price point
Can't beat it for the price. Its supposed to be worn over an LBV or plate carrier as the harness has no padding for the shoulders (as shown in pictures). Great for intended purpose and price point.
