Perfect no-electric scooter
I bought an electric car recently and finding public chargers can be a bit a hassle.Luckily, I'm able to use this non-electric scooter to get myself to where I need to go in short distances quickly if I parked at a public charging station. It's light, compact, and easy to get around. Foldability is nice and I'm able to easily throw this into the trunk of my car.Get a little exercise and go with this traditional scooter instead of an electric scooter which is 1. more expense 2. battery life WILL degrade over time 3. HEAVY 4. more maintenance. The handbrake and kick stand are nice features. It is a comfortable ride overall. Remember to always wear a helmet! This can go as fast as you can kick!

Quality is lacking, issues in two separate devices
Edit after interaction with their support team:First, thanks Amazon, I got a free replacement. But it had all the same problems. But then, with help from the vendor support , I was able to work through understanding my issues.Long story short, besides the inaccurate setup docs, none of my original issues are actually problems using the scooter. The “play” in steering doesn’t present itself during actual use. The resistance to steering goes away after a little use, they just have the head tube torced pretty tight. And the rubbing with the disc brake goes away after a little use. I’m sure I could adjust it away completely, but not a big dealI think they suffer from some “first impression” issue they need to work on, but this is actually a quality piece of scouter engineering.<original review>First impressions were not great. The instructions for assembly don't match the state of the scooter when it is shipped. Instructions show handlebar attached and it's not. And there is no info on how to do that. But at least that you can figure out with some googling.Of more importance were three defects, two in assembly and one is design. The front steering is very stiff and not at all smooth. At first I could barely rotate it by hand. It kind of "grinds" as if the bearings aren't smooth or perhaps the steerer tube is tightened too much. The other is there is significant left/right "play" in the front steering, apparently introduced by the front suspension assembly. I see a good 1/4 inch of play each direction holding the handbags still. I haven't tried riding at any speed with this, but it seems that could introduce dangerous wobble at speed. Finally, out of the box, the rear disc brake rubs against the break pads, significantly increasing rolling resistance. It didn't look warped, but something is causing contact at some parts of the rotation. I might be able to make adjustments for that, but that ought to be done at the factory, before shipping. This is not like wholesale bicycle that will go through setup at the retail store before use.And the bad news, all this was not a one off. I immediately ordered a replacement which arrived quickly (thanks Amazon) and had exactly the problems, in fact worse with the brake rubbing. I didn't even finished unboxing that one, since it was worse than the original. Now I have to decide to put up with it or return it and go through the research all over again for a higher quality adult scooter. What a waste of time.

Best purchase
I bought this around Christmas and my kids absolutely love it. I had to go ahead and not buy one but two this is an amazing scooter. It has a little cake stand. It has breaks. It is adjustable by height and holds up to 220 pounds.

Great Scooter
I love this scooter. I'm an older gal and love the larger wheels. Had to rotate the hand break so it is front facing. Other than that it's a great little vehicle for me to shoot around the neighborhood with the grandies.

Solid, simple commuting scooter
Bought this scooter to help with the 1/2 mile walk from my car to the office and it's done me justice - it helps me get to work on time! Rode it all summer and didn't have any serious wipeouts - I just spun out one time while going downhill and into a turn a little too fast - I just had to step off and run it out to prevent a bad fall.I work on a college campus in a small town - there's a lot of uneven pavement and obstacles. I feel in control having the hand break and foot break, plus the higher clearance gets me over uneven pavement without any issue. It's easy to steer through thin paths on garbage days or when theres lots of people. It can be a little dicey on slick or wet surfaces. We just got into rainy season in Oregon and so far I've been able to ride it in the rain. It kicks up some water, but isn't too bad and there's enough traction to cruise at a comfy speed on wet pavement. Going uphill isn't ideal, but it's doable - the high clearance makes it a tad harder I think.Wish there was a fender in the front to keep my shins a little drier - I think my bike kicked up similar goop though, even with fenders. I think it keeps my feet drier than walking. I wish it had a strap for carrying and the holder for folding the handlebars isn't the best, the handles will pop out of it so I don't fold them in anymore. The button for locking/unlocking the folding mechanism also rattles when I ride, it was annoying at first. Other than that, this thing is solid, it's even withstood some tumbles in the backseat of my car. It's easy to fold/unfold and fits in my cube at work, I hardly notice it!
