These are RGBW lights, they do have all 4 diodes in each “cell” and I took a picture that shows the four diodes through the lens. The remotes operate on radio frequency and have a spare battery. The remotes will control all the lights at once, they are not bound to a single unit. The lights have c13 power outlets instead of a NEMA outlet, so chaining them together will require me to buy cables. The fan is not very loud, but noticeable in a quiet room which I suspect is not the intended setting for the lights.The lights are all plastic with the exception of the metal legs. I think this kit is very attractive to an amateur like myself who wants to get into DMX lighting on a budget. I am looking into purchasing a DMX controller very soon to better take advantage of these lights. In the meantime, the controller/light controls will do just fine (the controller does take a long time to cycle through the numbers).The white diode used is very nice, it’s not very warm nor is it cool. It's a nice neutral white.I recommend these lights to anyone looking to get into DMX lighting, they have incredible value and flexibility.

My son is 15 and has taken up djaying. He used for the 1st time this past weekend. Although he needs to learn more about the different settings, he used two of them at the party and said they worked good. Nice addition for someone getting started in the field.

PROS1. Thinner and lighter than some others.2. Light output is good for my stage use.3. Fan is quieter than some others I’ve used.4. Remote is very handy and will control multiple units at once. That may or may not be desirable, but generally I like that.CONS1. While fan is pretty quiet, they can sometimes get noisier over time. Not sure if these will or not.2. Plastic housing, which in this price range is typical- they should hold up if handled with a bit of care.SUMMARYPresets worked well, DMX can be 4 or 8 channel, which is handy if you desire more control. You can disable the remote control if you only want to control certain units with the remote. Company was very responsive when I had a question, and overall this is a good value.

As a musician, I'm always looking for ways to up my shows while maintaining a budget. These lights are perfect, easy to control with or without a DMX. They link together with XLR cables and can be run off of one remote or the buttons on their units.They can also be mounted easily of set on the ground for extra effect.Happy I got these as similar lights can cost upwards of $100 each.

Lights work independently with included remote control or you can link them together with dmx cable and connect to a programable light controller. Mount all four on a truss and daisy chain the power cables between each fixture (cable not included is available on Amazon).
