Brita Maxtra is the best to do it. Use the included plastic tank and filter and refill any bottles with clean, filtered water. 5 years of using and never had limescale in my kettle.

When trying to fill the bottle, the water is just overflowing and not going through the filter. Any advise?

Fill the bottle by opening the cap using the screw thread lower than the filter. The water will then pass through the filter on its way out of the bottle to your mouth.
